Adrienne and Bishop head back to Franklin's office to find someone worth talking to about Molekevic and any other enemies Franklin may have.

( Excuse me, did you say you were looking for Dr Arthur Molekevic? )

While her colleagues are off to the offices Vanessa heads out to the streets with Callisto to see if they can connect Molekevic's work to any street gossip and maybe find a lead back to him that way.

( Looked like someone stuck 'im with a needle or some shit. )

Callisto and Adrienne find the spot where those being experimented on are being dumped but can't find the direction they came from.


( You wanna look out for a kid with a slightly blue tint to his skin, and a tall, gangly red-haired kid with his stupid-ass pants hanging halfway to his knees. )

Any Port In A Storm: Briefing / Here Come The Cavalry

Amara, the rest of X-Factor and the X-Men meet up with Vanessa briefly to get the run down on what's going on.

( So we go in, hit earth people, find kids, rescue kids, go home, have burgers. Seems pretty straightforward, what's the catch? )

Once inside Lorna, Adrienne and Callisto break off from the group and find themselves up against some of Molekevic's thugs of the mutant variety.

( Another person on coming to the rescue might have a pithy one-liner prepared for such a situation - perhaps something about 'picking on someone their own size' or 'evening the odds'. )

Meanwhile, Kyle and Marius run into those earth people standing in the way of Kyle's burgers.

( You eat one of the Moldewort golems, we get to see what happens and if it works we save ourselves a bunch of time? )

The fire trio find not just more golems but also Molekevic who slips away from them,

( Arthur Molekevic was extremely angry, and he shook a fist and stamped his foot, summoning forth more of the golems as if he could simply inundate the trio of mutants with the mud and clay that formed them by force of will alone. )

Molekevic runs across Vanessa and Bishop trying to get the kids to safety and throws a fit.

( No, no, NO! I have had enough! Enough, I say! Enough of interruptions, and the sneering looks, and the backhanded compliments, and the petty jealousies! I am better than all of them! All of -you-! )

As the others are wrapping up their captives Amara realizes they aren't all that safe in the tunnels.

( The tunnels - they're not stable. They're going to collapse. )

When they realize that not everyone got out Sam takes Amara, Callisto and Lorna back underground to try to find Vanessa, Bishop and hopefully the kids.

( She could feel the weight of something on the ground, something that wasn't more rock and mud and stone. )
