xp_logs | Log: Jono, Terry

Fun in the park, happens somewhen in the other log, while everyone gathers in front of the water ride.

x_sparky : *tries to edge away from the rest*

x_siryn: ::notices Jono trying to sneak away and grabs his sleeve:: Have you seen that big purple alligator over there? Isn't he neat?

x_siryn: ::grins innocently:

x_sparky: *looks at purple alligator* Very.

x_siryn: It works quite well with your hat, you know?

x_sparky: No. *tries to walk away again*

x_siryn: ::steps closer, actually tries to put her arm around his shoulders and forcibly keep him with the group::

x_siryn: I wanted to thank you for not being mad at us for teasing you. And the pink suits you surprisingly well.

x_siryn: ::points at her pink, glittery "My little pony" t-shirt:: I'm only wearing that because it was a gift.

x_sparky: *almost jerks away from her, then just shrugs uncomfortably* I'm wearing this because she gave me the guitar.

x_siryn: Will you play for us once you got a feel for it.. sorry, him? I love music, but I'm not so good at making it.

x_siryn: Only noise. ::sighs::

x_sparky: *shrugs again* Maybe.

x_siryn: That'd be really nice.

x_siryn: So, rollercoasters - cool or scary?

x_siryn: Why am I even asking...

x_siryn: ::grins brightly, trying to cover the lapses in conversation::

x_sparky: A lot of the music out there is just noise.

x_siryn: What kind of music do you like?

x_sparky: Rock. Industrial. Metallica is my favourite.

x_siryn: Enter Sandman, Nothing else matters. Yes, I know a few of those, though I liked the concert with the orchestra best. It was a bit more mellow than the usual sound, but the atmosphere of the songs was great.

x_sparky: *turns back from the others* Yes. I like the guitars best.

x_siryn: Isn't it difficult to get those right when you don't have a band to back you up?

x_sparky: Not really. If I'm alone I play differently.

x_siryn: Hmm. I don't know all that much about guitars. At my former school they weren't really interested in teaching music, and afterwards... ::breaks off, frowns, then smile again, if a bit anxiously:: Would you mind showing me a bit?

x_siryn: I mean, not all that much, just some basic chords? I am sure I can borrow a guitar from music class. And only if you can find the time.

x_siryn: And really, it doesn't ahve to be a continuous thing, just one or two lessons so that I at least know what I am talking about and...

x_siryn: ::raelizes she is rambling, shuts up::

x_sparky: *looks around uncomfortably, not really wanting to say yes or no* I'll.. think about it.

x_siryn: ::beams, since that's actually a nicer answer than she expected::

x_siryn: Thanks. I promise I'll stop trying to get you to wear pink.

x_sparky: *ponders, nods* Sounds like a lark.

x_siryn: Is it.. weird for you to live here, with all us other children around? I mean, I practically grew up in boarding schools, how was it for you?

x_siryn: I mean, I know we can sometimes be a bit.. much.

x_sparky: It's different. I used to go to state schools.

x_siryn: We can sometimes be a bit....

x_siryn: active, I guess.

x_sparky: I was going to say oppressive.

x_siryn: Ouch.

x_siryn: We're right horrible bullies, huh?

x_siryn: I guess we sometimes tend to have a mob-mentality.

x_sparky: *shrugs* You think that everyone wants be a part of your wonderful mutant family.

x_siryn: It's because many of us don't have anyone else.

x_siryn: I know I do - it's just easier to try and make this here a happy please instead of trying to repair my family.

x_siryn: Though I never used to have much of a struggle with my mutation.

x_siryn: ::frowns, nibbles on lower lip::

x_siryn: Up to now, that is.

x_sparky: Being like this is nothing but a struggle.

x_siryn: ::glances sideways at his chest, although there's nothing to see right now:: I...

x_siryn: I can't imagine it. Sometimes that makes me feel.... almost excluded, different. My father was a mutant, my uncle who raised me was a mutant - and I can simply shut up, you know?

x_siryn: Nothing earth shattering about my story. I feel like I should do more to help the others, like you, who only just found out, but...

x_sparky: What could you do.

x_siryn: ::puts hands into her jeans-pockets and rocks back on her heels, staring at the sky::

x_siryn: I have no idea.

x_siryn: ::notices the others are getting ready to climb on to the ride::

x_siryn: ::hesitates a moment, then links her arm with Jono's, pulling him along::

x_sparky: *let's himself be pulled along*

x_siryn: C'mon, last one gets the worst place. You decide - back or front? You get wetter at the front.

x_sparky: *looks down at chest* Maybe the back.

x_siryn: Ok, that's good.

x_siryn: ::Terry playfully gives Jono a little shove into the car, then clambers in behind him::

x_siryn: Have I mentioned that I get motion-sick?

x_sparky: *eyes get a little wide*

x_siryn: ::grins devilishly:: Just kidding.

x_siryn: Soory 'bout that. ::she clearly isn't::

x_sparky: *shakes head and looks surprised as the ride starts*

x_siryn: Ok, hold on now, those suckers are always a bit worse than they look from the outside. ::giggles as the cars speeds up::
