Shinobi and Alex

Late Saturday night/early Sunday morning, Alex is having trouble sleeping, and goes to the rec room to watch TV without risking waking up his suitemates. Shinobi's there already, watching a movie. They talk about American censors butchering perfectly good cinema, the evils of Teddy Ruxpin, and eventually touch upon the fight with Lorna.

( One thing my father did right, I suppose. Never gave me a Teddy Ruxpin. )

Paige and Angelo finally make it to church. Except... not really in Paige's case. Did we mention Paige isn't big on religion? We get a little glimpse into the past where she once was a good little Catholic (Christian? Baptist? What are the Guthries again?) girl and have a visit by the ladies with obnoxious hats.

( But you know how it is. Father ups and dies and you just start not remembering why you needed a God in the first place. )

Kitty comes by to greet the new teacher before classes start.  She comes in for tea and stays for quite a while as Paul attempts to explain the Humanities courses to her, then picks her brain about the HeliX event and his computer.

Rahne and Nathan, Sunday afternoon

Cecilia and Nathan

Late Sunday evening, Cecilia goes out for a walk to escape the mild-madness of the mansion after Angelo's journal was hijacked. She bumps into Nate at the lake, and winds up taking him along. They discuss everything from the lack of downtime between crises, to green-furred space chimpanzees. No, really.

Flying in from working off some of his frustration, Paul hears Alex take a fall from his skateboard ramp and stops to check on him.  When the answer to the obvious question is a very definite ‘no’, he takes the time to see what’s wrong and ends up hearing everything.  He helps Alex unravel a few of his knots and agrees to talk to Lorna.  Then he takes Alex to Scott, where he really needs to be, and leaves Scott to take care of his little brother.  [Set at 11:30pm but posted now so I can go to bed whenever.  :)]
