This time, Remy, Marie and Ororo show themselves into el-Gibar's headquarters. The three make it clear to el-Gibar that he will give them what they came for and there will be no more discussion.

( Well, you should all be very proud of yourselves... have you ever considered thievery? Oh wait. )

The trio make it to Aswan to try and locate the mask. They're too late to snatch it, but do find the Professors and the reason why Magneto wants it so badly.

( Who we are isn't important. What we need to know is why both of you are, and what it has to do with a mask dat was old by de time Muhommad was was born. )

Storm, Gambit and Rogue interrupt the exchange, at the cost of facing one of the most dangerous of the Brotherhood: Sabretooth! After the battle, a surprise none of them could have anticipated waits

Remy cuts power to the facility and ‘Ro shows off her special skills.

On the flight to Egypt, Remy briefs ‘Ro and Marie about what lies ahead. Some tension arises between the two former thieves on the options available to them.

( You need never fear for your safety, Remy. Marie and I will take good care of you )

Remy, Marie and Ororo take a stroll through the market and receive a very thoughtful escort to el-Gibar's headquarters. They have a nice talk involving veiled threats and a lot of posturing, and Remy shows off his superior bargaining skills by offering to sell Marie to sweeten the deal.

( How 'bout de girl den? Twenty, thirty thousand at least on de market, more if you let someone train her up. )

el-Gibar’s offer is discussed. Remy and ‘Ro’s debate over their options isn’t the only thing that’s passionate.

( Must be dat, what's de word, sexual chemistry )

’Ro returns to the hotel room late at night to discuss the plan for tomorrow with Marie.

( So Remy and Ah are the distraction – please tell me Ah get to hit him. )

Remy comes to the mansion for a meeting with Ororo and decides to drop by to see Lorna. Unfortunately, he doesn't know that she changed suites. Fortunately...or perhaps not, Lorna's in anyway. Haller plays host to the Awkward.

Remy meets with ‘Ro to discuss what two kidnapped professors, a stolen mask and Magneto have in common.

( Still, who knows what de evil faeries are telling Buckethead to do dis week? )

Remy runs into yet another person he would rather not have. He and Marie have an almost civil conversation, but they still know how to thoroughly annoy each other.

Marie goes to speak with Ororo about Egypt, Remy and Magneto. She refuses to take no for an answer, until ‘Ro points out that she’s asking the wrong person if she can be involved.

Rogue calls Remy with her request…and begins to wonder if she should have.

( You sure dat you allowed to do solo missions? You got a note from dat Summers? )
