After checking Katie's dorm room, Doug figures out what's going on, and who's behind it. With time at a premium, he has to call in some favors. Including one with someone who he's not on great terms with at the moment...

X-Factor: SVU. Doug calls in his other favor to someone who already knows Porter's New York safehouse very well because she's been paid to stake it out. X-Factor busts in, and finds more than just Katie Ramsey...

Doug and his sister fly back to Denver to visit home for the holidays. In the process, Doug asks Katie how things have been to make conversation, and gets rather startled by the revelation of something he completely missed. Backdated to December 20th.

Backdated to Nov 27th. Doug brings Tabitha to a casual Hellfire Club mixer. Someone notices them, and is noticed in turn.

Tabitha, at her wits end trying to find actual concrete information about the Hellfire Club, calls up the best information-gatherer she knows. She doesn't realize that he has very personal and intimate knowledge of the Club and its workings...

Doug and Katie meet for lunch out in the city, per parental decree. Katie needles her brother, per the rules of the 'sisterly duty of torment'.

Backdated to March. Doug's family decides they want to see where he works. Hijinks ensue.
