A week after the unseasonable flooding of NYC, various anti-mutant groups have united for a demonstration on the borders of District X. The X-Men are present to ensure things remain civil.

( So far, everyone is behaving well enough. )

Obviously civility doesn't last. But what at first appears to be a simple IED proves to be something much, much worse.

( Seriously though, don't ask about jobs and college because I decided that my best option was robbing casinos and living with the Morlocks when I was 18 and it just got me messed up. )

In the midst of rescues, one flier runs into... or rather through another.

( We get a lot of floods back home, I couldn’t just sit by and let folks not used to em suffer. )

Later on, Hope and Kurt team up to look for those needing evacuation.

( I am not sure that breaking into his home would have the effect we are hoping for. )
