Well after, Fixer returns to Zemo with the bad news.

( I suppose you would have nothing more on that particular bit of information either, would you? )

Between Marie-Ange's text and her very familiar connection to Doug, Emma checks in on her Knight even as she's heading to the Blackbird crash site.

( Is there anyway that I can help? Put your mind in a box? Provide rousing moral support? Deliver painkillers and martinis when you’re on the recovery couch? )

Doug gains access to the secure engineering labs by way of the inert nanites he injected. And then things get...psychedelic. And existential. And there is a price to be paid to halt the creation of Fixer's new hardware.

Doug does not evacuate. Doug heads toward the emergency like the self-sacrificing dumbass he is. But this time, Marie-Ange refuses to let him go off half-cocked.

Kitty and Garrison are fighting a losing battle against the nanites infesting the Danger Room. So they make a very risky decision to open Pandora's Box.

With Alex blasting away on the inside and Garrison and a prybar on the outside, the doors to the Danger Room finally get forced open and everyone gets out.

( The Danger Room is officially closed. )

After Nica discovers the nanite trail, Kyle, Topaz, Molly, Natasha and Nica go after the robotic invader and confirm his identity - The Fixer.

And then there is a fight, because of course there is.

( So, lemee get this straight. Dude with the mind-control nanites might still be able to do that, and he's attacking the mansion, and according to you guys, he's a robot. )

Darcy and Laurie evacuate the labs, and it is not pretty.

( Non-consensual asphyxiation sucks, FYI )

Jean and Terry prep the medlab supplies while evacuating

( I'm going to make sure the medlab is prepped and ready in case, God forbid, we got any injuries. )

Clarice takes on the task of getting Maya out - and uses one of the portable emergency EMP's to clear the nanites out of Maya's hearing aids.

( Mansion's infected with nanites. All tech is susceptible, including your cochlear. Sorry. )

Hope Abbott, Stephen Strange and Ty Johnson keep possessed technology from leaving the mansion and getting down to Avalon.

( You think I can expense out my X-box to the mansion? )

Marie-Ange hands a package off to Jubilee to get it out of the mansion quickly.

( What’s in it? Should I bring a hammer? Is this a crocodile type of situation? )

Scott goes to check on his pride and joy. He needs Logan's help to get into the hangar, and what he finds there does not spark joy.

( Logan...please tell me you smell paint or know about someone pranking me by painting on the jet...please. )

Scott has to take drastic actions, and Jean-Phillipe is not about to let him do it alone. Arthur's just along for the field trip. He brought snacks.

( Here's my permission slip. )

Scott manages to put the plane down without -completely- demolishing it, and Emma, Angelo, and Meggan rush to the crash to make sure everyone's okay. And that the nanites are wiped out.

( Badasses don't look at explosions. )

Nica literally bumps into Natasha and they head towards the labs.

( Hey, panic and learning on the fly does incredible things to the human brain. )

Once the evacuation notice goes out, a team goes to the labs to try to shut them down. It does not go entirely successfully but they slow down the spread of nanites - and learn that Nica can track them.

( Don't worry about the liquid nitrogen, I've got this. )

As the chaos spreads, a team goes into the Security Rooms to shut down the systems, and trigger a mansion evacuation.

( I am still not really sure what a nanite is. Hoping that doesn't stop our progress, just thought I should... get that out of the way. )

Back in the DR Control Room, Garrison and Kitty take some desperate measures.

( This isn't the best circumstance for testing but maybe that's our best option right now. )

Garrison recruits some help to try to shut the Danger Room down, and what he gets instead is attacked, overheated, confused and unexpectedly pantsless.

( The mechanism seems fused. Which means someone is deliberately sabotaging the room. And we have people in there. Try again. )

Artie and Sue are in a space station - this is neither plants, nor zombies but it is Very Sus

( See, this is why I didn't become an astronaut or try to go to space. It'll be fun they said, it'll be an adventure. It's a floating deathtrap. )

While Wanda and Betsy are sent to the Wild, Wild West, with a distinct lack of Captain Jim T West, President Grant, or DJ Jazzy Jeff.

( Something is rapidly changing things but what, I do not know. I cannot see what is pulling the strings but I intend to find out. )

And finally, appropriately, Alex and Alison are stuck in a musical. A dangerous musical with flamethrowers.

( Her first thought was Jesus, that's one hell of a tempo change. Second was ...is that a flamethrower? )

Lucky Scenario Number 62 is... X-Folks vs Plants vs Zombies. But things start to go wrong quickly.

( That's the problem with the Danger Room. It's not real enough, so you all think it's a toy or something. )

And in the Control Room, Kitty and Garrison quickly realize things have gone sour.

( This was the master switch; it meant hours of furious yelling at whom ever pushed it without a damn good reason. )

While the medical staff steal with Maya's emergency, a mixed-team group go into the Danger Room to crosstrain.

( Honestly, I'll take whatever doesn't end with me in the shower for an hour trying to wash mud out of places it definitely didn't belong. )

And up in the Control Room, Garrison and Kitty plan out a scenario for our Danger Room folks.

( I keep telling Scott we need to have a credits roll at the end of each session. )

While on a nature hike, Maya and Arthur talk about the X-Men, her career plans, and then things go sharply awry.

( I don't even know. She just grabbed her head and started going. No mention of a headache, no being unsteady. Just... )

Maya's condition is not improving, so Clarice takes some emergency measures.

( Ten minutes later, she had learned nothing else, other than soft restraints were also a good idea. )
