On the flight to California, Nathan catches up with Forge after the events of the week. Arriving at their destination, he's startled to find Carly Alvarez working with SHIELD, but it turns out she's not the only ex-colleague of his interested in the last legacy of Taygetos.
The relative quiet of the aftermath of the Wyoming mission is broken when Jean and Moira receive a request from SHIELD. When Nathan finds out what it involves, keeping him in bed is no longer an option.
Julio is sneaky and actually manages to distract Nathan with some work news. Nathan gives him a loose end or two to start tying up; apparently he can't get away from the issue of mutant child soldiers just yet.
Later that day, Jean-Paul finds Nathan awake and lucid, and is rather scandalized to discover that his friend's feeling guilty. (OOC: Posted ahead of time due to potential lack of internet tonight.)
The X-Men continue to fight the children they've come to save, but manage to turn the tide. Alpha and Trask finally pay for their crimes, and Nathan is surprised in a way he never expected.
The X-Men head to Wyoming to carry out the second half of the plan and use the Trojan Horse to incapacitate the young operatives so that SHIELD can take everyone related to Taygetos safely into custody. Things go south fast when Trask implements a plan of her own, and the X-Men find themselves in a fight after all.
Arriving in Greenland, the other members of the rescue team discover from Jean that Nathan's capture was all part of the plan. Kyle is sent into the facility with psychic camouflage to trigger Nathan's memory blocks, and after having his own encounter with the young operatives, frees his teammate - only to discover that their business there isn't finished. On the flight back, Haller takes care of an unexpected consequence of Nathan's captivity, and Kyle and Zanne try to distract themselves from what's to come. The day's only just started.
