The X-Men meet Rick Jones outside of town.

Scott, Kyle, and Jean-Phillipe do research into the deaths in town and find out they are in line with radiation poisoning.

Rick Jones leads April and Nica to the source of the gamma radiation where they find that Del Frye is no longer in his grave.

( It's mostly concentrated around the kid- or his grave at least. )

Marius, Sooraya, and Rogue look for other mutants in town.

( I even used my feminine charms aka a low-cut shirt, and I got no answers really. )

Marius and Rogue help Nica disperse the gamma radiation and change it.

( Is Marius just being a mutant divining rod and I'm the spirit it speaks through then? )

The triumphant return of Ulysses Bloodstone is interrupted, and then eclipsed by, the Alison Blaire Half Time Show.

( There really was only one choice. )

With the illusion shredded, Bloodstone is forced to reconsider his current career path.

( That... that is not what I was hunting. )

As the illusion shreds Echo and Mayhem get a rude surprise, and someone realizes they've bitten off more than they can chew.

The failed pilot comes to a close, and the contract is dissolved due to Creative Differences.

After tracking the signal from Sharon's collar the X-Men arrive on scene, and they're not in a patient mood.

( In the interests of time, let's assume we've already asked you a question and you've told us you don't know anything so we can get right to the torture. Seem fair? )

Nightcrawler and Spectrum, acting as reconnaissance, encounter the first wave of resistance and get a hint that all is not as it appears to be.

Dust and Phoenix act to evacuate the kidnapped mutants.

( Now you get to enjoy being helpless for a while. )

Bevatron and Dazzler infiltrate the command center, where they formulate a hypothesis while indulging in a little light terrorism.

Mayhem and Echo take on a duo of their own.

Cyclops and Wildchild meet the master of the hunt.

( Whatever he's on, I don't think I want any of it. )

Unaware help has arrived, Liam and Sharon are released into the hunt.

April proves surprisingly unfazed by both Marius' apology and the general explanation of his mutation, although this might be expected from someone who recently spent weeks locked in the form of an alien symbiote.

( You're not the first person to say they're not staying, you probably won't be the last. )

Kyle senses out April doing a symbiote-y lurk, and has some creative thoughts about snacks that you can eat when your teeth are wrong. He also has a Completely Incorrect Theory about the symbiotes being deep sea fish.
