Scott comes to check on Kurt, and they talk a little.
He'd woken up a few hours before, head splitting and generally sore from the effects of the hex bolt and the heavy landing, and had been kept in the infirmary a little longer, just to be safe. Kurt was starting to get restless, though.
"Hey," Scott said from the doorway. "How are you feeling?"
"Sore", came the rueful answer. "But I think I am all right. Do you know when they plan to let me go?"
"Soon, I think," Scott said as he came in. "What happened? I know you warned the Professor..."
"There was something wrong with Wanda. She caught me with a hex bolt as I teleported, I think..."
Scott sighed, then gave Kurt as succinct a summary as he could of what had apparently happened. "She should be all right," he concluded, reassuringly. "I think it may take her a while to sort it all out, though, once she's recovered from the shock..."
Kurt had paled as he listened to the recitation. "And... Chthon is gone from her mind now? For good?"
Scott nodded. "From what I understand, yes." He offered a faint smile. "Never a dull moment around here, huh?"
"There never is." He managed a faint smile in return. "And I think we would soon be bored if there was."
"You are, I hope, going to take a few days off and rest up, even when you get out of here?" Scott asked pointedly, smiling again, just a little.
Kurt chuckled, moving as little as possible. "I do not think I will want to move for at least a day. After that... I will consider it an order."
"Good. Because I'm dictatorial like that." Scott paused. "I'm glad you're okay," he said quietly, then repressed a grin. "Just... steer clear of amorous Elder Gods for a while, all right?"
"....I will be sincerely hoping the situation does not arise again. Ever."
