xp_logsEh, Alex got a bit worked up over the whole e-mail thing and needed to calm down, thus, an exodus outside.
Alex had had enough. He couldn't sit in front of the computer any longer. Grabbing his winter coat and some gloves, he darted out the door of the dorm and down the stairs. He felt the stares of the people he passed, wondering if they knew how Angelo had been evicted by his room mates yet.
As he stepped out into the cold, his anger evaporated a bit, but not all the way. He wasn't mad at Jamie or really anyone. More just himself. He'd reread Jamie's e-mail and realized he'd let something slip. And knowing Jamie, if he realized it, it would take it to Scott and Alex would have to face things that he really didn't want to. Even with Lorna's urgings, there were some things Alex didn't feel he had to burden his brother with.
With a quick look around the grounds, he observed a snowball fight and some smaller kids building a snowman. No one had paid attention to the blonde so he took the opporuntiy to dissappear into the woods. He didn't want anyone to see him, as one, he didn't have the excuse of skateboarding because of the snow and two, he wanted to be alone to sulk. It was bad enough remembering his flashbacks caused by the two times Jono blew, it would be worse if someone found him sulking. Then they would try to help.
See, that was the difference between Angelo and himself. He did his sulking in private. And despite what he had just told Jamie, he didn't want to be found.
