... if I'm making Miles my ward and he has no last name, does that mean I give him mine?
Right. Breathing now. Oh boy. Hank, he'll need to see you when we get in - full physical, the works. Moira, want in too? And I'll stay if you don't mind. He needed a bath badly for one thing (not surprising) and he has some sort of skin rash, probably from the constant exposure to the sea water in that cavern... and - stuff from before the kids helped him break out. You'll have to move slow around him, and let him see you before touching him. Even the beach kids had picked up that habit with him.
He's sleeping like a log right now, pure exhaustion more than anything else I think. Took him a while to fall off though, and both a lot of lullabies, and a soothing lightshow.
Professor, think you can reach to where I am, for tomorrow? If it's not a problem... I wouldn't mind a little support when I go tell the local judicial system they really want to sign over Miles to me, somehow. He actually has papers, though I'm not sure how "legal" they are, and I'm not sure if that'll make things easier or harder.
Ok. No more rambling for me.
Night all!

If you would like to do so, and Miles does not object, I hardly see why not. Very maternal of you.
Cerebro will give me the range, if nothing else; let me know when you need me. And if the negotiations prove unexpectedly expensive, you may draw upon my finances with a free hand.

My best bedside manner will be on prominent display, I assure you. Will he find my appearance alarming enough that use of the image inducer would be warranted, do you think?
And on a personal note, my dear, should we ever track down those unfortunate souls who used the boy so ill, I would esteem it a service if you would allow me to accompany you when they meet their just deserts.
Hope to see you all back safely soon.

Maternal? Squeak!
Oh good, I was hoping you'd say that. I'm thinking, if nothing else, I'll really need some help keeping my temper in check.
Good - I have some leeway with finances here, but well... you never know.

... I completely forgot to mention this, didn't I? I'll be using that back-up inducer you gave me when I left. For him, I mean. And he won't mind you one bit, I'd think. Miles is kinda green. Like a really small mini Hulk, but without the muscle man stuff? And bald. Almost no nose to speak of too. Bumps on the head (I thought they from injuries at first, Miles said he's always had them).
Oh yes. Your presence would, in fact, be more than welcome.
As soon as the paperwork is in order, we'll be heading back...
