Hey roomie,
You were sleeping when I came down earlier (visiting the Spanish Lord, don'tcha know), but I know you've got your laptop down in the medlab, so email will do for now. I'm off to run a few errands today; including finding some books for Miles so we can start on proper reading and writing lessons for him (and of course, getting my nails and hair done). You know, get some fresh air, spend time with a male who thinks I'm the best thing since sliced bread no questions asked (which from him, is one hell of a compliment), spoil myself rotten in the process. And because it's nice to have someone actually want my help, once in a while, never mind the actually listening to what I'm saying bit instead of simply deciding he knows everything better than I do and couldn't possibly understand a thing in the world. :p Which is ironic considering he's probably one of the few people regardless of age from whom I'd accept the holier than thou "you don't know what I've been through so fuck off, oh stupid adult who don't know shit" attitude from.
I'm getting really tired of some stuff. And you know what? I'm thinking I don't have to put up with it, either. Or that I've the personality to do so, when you get down to it. Hypocrisy and self-righteousness grate on my nerves it would seem and I'm finding I have less and less tolerance for it. My energies can be devoted to far more constructive things. I'll need to think on that more. There's only one person I'd hate to let down right now and I'll need to talk to him about it, I guess. And for the rest, well – those who know well enough will understand it doesn't really change much of anything at all, y'know?
Anyway. Other than me being what some would rather call bitchy rather than conceive that there might be a kernel of truth to my words (and heaven forbid it might be more than that) and somewhat cryptic to boot, there is a purpose to this email other than venting. Is there anything you'd like for me to pick up for you while I'm out on the town? Creature comforts, stuff to spoil yourself with, etc, etc? Actually, never mind. I am picking stuff up for you, and generally am going to have a ball spoiling you rotten. Now you know. So think chocolate covered coffee beans for starters, and let your imagination run wild from there, mmm? ;)
And if you think of other things and I'm already gone, no worries. The Spanish Lord seems to have acquired himself a chauffeur for a day, when he's ready to go out, so I'll be in town soon enough again. Make a list, s'all. And I'm also thinking of dragging Jake off for a day or evening out shopping, or eating, or what have you. He looks like he needs to get out of the mansion, poor thing. Not sure what's up, but hey, the gender bender thing alone must be playing games with his mind like no one's business, the sillier side of things notwithstanding.
Ali
Ps – wonder how amusing it would be to actually show up in the old chauffeur duds, no less. I can deal with natural arrogance a hell of a lot better than other things. What does that tell, I wonder?

Hey there,
Well, ok, you may have a choice. Since I've already got a boatload of babysitters - although I'm thinking of asking Jamie in particular for this time - I'm going to give Miles permission to terrorize the kids (he's getting full of beans them days, feeling far more confident about exploring the mansion on his own – you've been warned, btw) and drag you off for some R&R out in town. Shopping for an afternoon, or night out on the town in the evening. Your pick, my treat.
What say you?
Alison
Ps – Yes. I need out of here and adult conversation for a change. Indulge me?

Devil woman,
Since I completely understand, and have a completely free day... Sure. I´ll be in the kitchen or something. Just come by and drag me off.
...And thanks for the warning.

Dahling,
Oh goody. Shall drag you off and restrain my girlish "play dress-up" instincts as best I can. Be sure you have all you need with you, as the dragging off will be enthusiastic and swift.
Welcome. He tries so hard it's scary sometimes, but he's still just seven.

Ah, nothing. Just something Logan asked me to help him with. We got caught up in the heat of the moment and I accidentally nicked him. No harm, no foul really.
And yes, for the umpteenth time, I am fine. Please don't worry your little head on my behalf. It's redundant and not going to produce another response other than, "I'm fine!"
Alright.

You. Titanium reinforced rod. Seperate already, huh?
And I wasn't worried about Logan, I mean come on... there could be a nuclear holocaust and he'd still be around, with a glow inna dark skeleton and all.
Had fun at least?
Alison
(Yeah, I'm used to the "I'm fine" answer. Since you tend to say that even when someone has, oh, ripped your arm off and is beating you to death with it, you'll have to forgive me for checking up now and then regardless of everything else, mmm?)

The rod analogy was....very colorful, Blaire.
Logan isn't as indestructable as you think, but he is tenacious.
The session was enlightening, to say the least. But yes, I did enjoy myself.

P.S. Things are different now, I am no longer suffering from hallucinations or the like. Have faith in our medical science, if not in me.

Blaire??? That's... new. Of course, now I'm dying to ask if there's something going on that I should know about. Betsy. :p
As for Logan... not something I ever cared to discuss with anyone on a regular basis, but bottom line? I figure it'd be hard for him to heal if the flesh were entirely vaporized from his bones. Eh. Random thoughts take you odd places, sometimes.
Well, good for you, then.
Alison
Ps. It's not you, or the medical science, Betsy. It's him I doubt. But we'll probably just have to agree to disagree on that topic....

Ask? What exactly would you like to ask me?
Thanks for sharing that delightful image. I'll file it under unnecessary nightmares and random psychotic thoughts.
I'm tired of all of this. Agreed. I trust Essex wholeheartedly and you don't.
Good day.

Hey,
Yeah, the Doc finally let me have my laptop. Just been reading mostly. No comments just yet. Mostly because typing one-handed is a total pain.
I don't need anything right now except maybe wholly new epidermal and dermal layers. And possibly more drugs. Mmm, morphine.
Did my mom and dad get off to the airport okay? I vaguely remember them saying goodbye... something about cosmetic surgery too. What about
Nevermind.
Spoil away, hon. I'm hardly in any position to argue.

Yeah, I can see how the one handed thing would be annoying. Wonder if we could metalize the keys for you, or if your power might run the risk of screwing up the computer too much?
Riiiight. Remind me to mention that to Hank, yah? ;)
Yes, they did. No news, I'm sorry hon. We're looking.
Spoiling happenin', and then more. Hope you'll enjoy!

Ali,
Magnetic fields and computers = bad. Ruined several that way back when I was first getting the hang of this. I won't even tell you how many credit cards I destroyed the same way.
I'll remind only if it means I get more morphine and not less.
Good. I know they drove everyone here crazy.
I said nevermind.
Spoiling is much appreciated.
