Hey!

Conned someo- I mean, recruited someone else into helping you out with the counselor gig.

You should see a panicky post soon from the person in question if you haven't already, I'm thinking – if not, I'll prod. I want to see it myself. And in this case, I actually suspect it'll do them more good than the kids, though. They'll put the poor soul through the wringer too, while he learns. That or feel so bad they might take pity and actually try to behave.

...

Yeah. And I'll check into a nunnery tomorrow.

Is it very bad of me to be looking forward to this as much as I do?

Alison

Ps. ...I had an interesting talk with Shinobi yesterday morning. What can you tell me about Sebastian Shaw?

Subject: Random note...

Good morning, Manuel,

I thought you might like to know that some of the younger children can read the posts. Not sure if you were aware of that, and I apologize for not thinking of telling you yesterday.

See you soon for the shopping trip,
Alison

Private Email to Hank McCoy

From: Blaire, Alison
Subject: As ever, I need your help with something...

Hey there, oh bouncing bundle of joy!

Remember that noise I was making about wanting cell phones for the kids? Well, with them making noises about going and all (normal, etc.) I'm making noise again. Can you see about getting those all set up soon, with a panic line set up for them if trouble happens while they're out?

Also... I need a panic button for Miles. Something subtle, maybe a button we can put on his clothes, a tracker, whatever your impressive imagination might think of. Strongest signal this side of creation, receiver both in the mansion security set-up and I want one as well. I was worrying before but, yeah. I really want this now. I'll explain later if you want... but I'm pretty sure you've already guessed why.

*hugs*
Ali

I have this horrible feeling I can guess who you mean. Swear to god, if we ever have whatever this country has for school inspectors descend, we're all going to be in jail...

Shaw senior's a prime grade bastard. Ruthless is about the nicest thing you could say about him. Emma's a better person to talk to about him - she knows the man personally, I've only met him in passing a couple of times, and read the files, but from what I've read, and the conversations I've had with the kid, Shinobi will have had a fucked up childhood. Shinobi said that his Dad treated him like a possession or a business asset, and I've read about how Shaw treats his assests...

I'll look forward to the screams of horror.

Yeah, the panic button sounds like a very, very good idea. That and making sure that the rest of the world doesn't find out what his power is.

Pete.

And ... ?

I fail to see what you are driving at. So the children can read my posts. What of it?

I just mean making it clear to the kids (hell, and staff) that on the damn few occaisions that they interact with normal humans, be it in person or on the phone, or even by email, Miles' gifts are not a subject that should ever be brought up, even if they trust the people they're talking to, and in the unlikely event that someone from outside ever gets a conversation round to the point that it'd be natural for them to do so, they should clam up, and tell one of the staff here ASAP.
