In the night--
Jan. 10th, 2004 12:20 amShe walked the halls of the third floor, stopping in front of Scott Summers' door. She paused for a moment, taking in the silence.
Long graceful fingers twiddled with the folded note. The faint smell of perfume emanated from the paper. All the while, she inhaled its scent and reveled in the afterglow.
Happily dropping the note and sliding it under the door, she walked casually down the corridor, satisfied.
I felt you; it distracted me at first, during the spar.
I should tell you, it was a pleasant surprise,
though it cost me my pride.
Aren't you going to say hello? Or are you going to
continue to lurk in the shadows, brooding.
