After Alison's talk with Scott, she tries hiding out in her room/suite, but Sam comes by to look in on her because he is concerned and gentlemanly like that. She lets him in and cries on him. It's a start.

EDIT: Okay, I'm stupid. It took me a whole day to realize that I put this in the wrong journal. Am teh dumb. Whoops.
To the world you are just one person, but to one person you could mean the world. )

Backdated to September 16th. Scott goes to see Charles to discuss lightening his load, and gets a much-needed pep talk.

I'll save forcing you into a trunk bound for Aruba for another time, then... )

Backdated to Thursday evening. Before the Askani class and after his Thursday session with Jack, Nathan retreats back to the suite to catch his breath. He and Moira discuss the fact that it's the month-anniversary of her kidnapping and his recapture by Mistra. They manage to get off that topic and onto the subject of plans for Christmas, and Nathan asks her a very significant question. (Not, still not that one. Yet.)

This makes it all worth it, you know. )

Angelo ducks out to the garden for a smoke and finds Paul already in the skulking spot.  They talk about atonement and agree that at least knowing someone else is going through the same thing is something to hang onto.

Because she’s a slow learner, Lorna goes on another date with Brent. Sometimes it takes a stranger to give you some perspective.

Can you really want me more than for a little while? What are the stories hiding there behind your smile? )
