Haroun and Alison - Comfort In A Time of Need

Alison's had it rough during her time in Belgium. She goes to Haroun for some help in keeping the nightmares away. He does the best he can.

Foley, Alison, and Nathan, Saturday morning

Alison stops in the medlab to see Foley, who's not doing very well.

( Go away. If you're not here to kill me, go away. )

Afterwards, she finds a miserable Nathan sitting out on the porch. She manages to get him thinking and planning, rather than brooding, and he comes up with something - or someone - who might be able to help both Mick and Kyle. They speculate a little on what MacInnis might actually have been up to, but don't come to any conclusions.

Nathan and Haroun, Saturday afternoon

Haroun goes looking for Nathan to find out what exactly did happen in Belgium that had Alison so upset upon her return. Nathan tells him, and the two of them get into a bit of an argument about the best approach to the problem (which kind of results in Nathan blowing up the living room. Just a little.) Haroun then points out to Nathan that despairing over it is not particularly productive.

( So what the hell happened in Europe? Did you drag Alison into a Death Camp Tour 2K4 and mindlink her so she could share? )

Scott and Ororo, late Saturday afternoon

Ororo finds Scott out for a walk - of his own free will! Scott takes the opportunity to broach a few team-related subjects to Ororo and finds that they're more or less in agreement that some changes need to be made. They retire inside for some hot chocolate to hash out the details.

Scott tracks Wanda down to ask a rather large favor of her, to keep an eye on the kids when they go to the club on Halloween. She agrees but for a price.

Log [Alison & Haroun] Hiding out a little bit longer...

Alison & Haroun. Saturday afternoon, after this log. Haroun limps back to his room and Alison is less then pleased to find out he's got holes in his arm and leg.

( And while it was unnerving to be sticking a finger in your boyfriend's leg to check for splinters of all things, Alison knew she was taking this far better than she might have in other circumstances. )

Nathan and Madelyn, Nathan and Moira, Saturday night

Nathan returns to the medlab to check on Foley, but winds up having a talk with Madelyn about where they go from here when it comes to Mistra. Nate's not feeling particularly ambitious at the moment.

( I think my problem is that I don't really believe we can stop them. )

He goes back to the suite to find Moira waiting for him. She's definitely forgiven him for the living room.

( Before you tell me that I got back on the horse... I had my eyes closed the whole time. )
