Nathan and Haroun, Saturday afternoon

Nathan stops by to check on Haroun the day after the accident in the Danger Room. His turn to try and dole out advice, but not unexpectedly, he doesn't make much headway.

Scott stops in to see Haroun - but has very little to say about the Danger Room accident. Instead, he drags Haroun out to shop. On the way, they talk shop of the academic sort, and come up with a couple of new possibilities for the new term. At the mall, something suitable is purchased for Alison, and then Scott makes a purchase of his own.

Dear Mom and Dad. Am having wonderful time away at school. Currently on cross-country drive with seventeen-year-old pregnant mutant woman so she can handle her divorce. She seems to have adopted me as her 'little brother' and is taking me to meet the wild savages to get in touch with my heritage. ( Am considering that she may be batshit insane. Love, your dutiful son. )

Scott and Hank (and a new addition), Saturday night

Hank knocks on Scott's door to discuss some changes in his training schedule and winds up meeting what - or rather, who - Scott brought home from the mall. The conversation turns very serious as Scott lets Hank in on a weekend trip he's been pondering, and the two of them have a good, long talk about some very sensitive subjects.

In which it is obvious that Talks are better done when not concussed or on pain medication. Reasonable (well, if you discount Issues still holding firm sway) and Calm are very much featured, along with the Naming Of The Teddy Bear.
