LOG: Jennie and Marius, We're both too sane for this place

Apparently not even the concept of an early field-trip can get some people to turn in at a reasonable hour. Jennie meets someone closer to her own age, and Marius meets someone with whom he can flirt without the potential of severe beatings.

( When they tell me stuff about the demon invasions and getting kidnapped into alternate dimensions, my reaction used to be 'do what now?' And now it's, 'Oh hey, coma. And somebody's been kidnapped or gone evil, and we've got an invasion of pixies. Must be Tuesday.' )

When the field trip group arrives, they find out that the Seattle airport is a rather busy place on Halloween, thanks to the summit. It's not unexpected, but the tone of the crowd is oppressive, and Jennie gets to experience that up-close and personal.

( What we need is a flower down the barrel of a gun )

Jubilee and Forge retrieve their luggage and ponder the potential for trouble.

( The whole world stayed up for the show. )

Nathan is sizing up the crowd and not liking what he sees. He and Wanda agree that it would be good to get out of the airport and to the hotel, even before Marie-Ange shows up with her 'my precognition is pinging me' face on.

( Just get me to my war on time. )

Angie and Doug in the hotel

Angie and Doug check into their hotel room. Marie-Ange is having a bad feeling, and Doug tries to help her narrow it down a bit. They don't have much luck, and Doug decides to not worry about it in favor of ordering room service.

At the hotel, Angelo and Rahne are watching the local news and discovering that what they were noticing at the airport is being reflected city-wide.

Nathan, alone in his room, finds out that it's his turn to have a Vague Precognitive Moment.

( And the centuries will never apologize. )

Jean calls Scott to report on the situation, and they get somewhat pensive about the possibilities.

Backdated to the day of the Air Xavier mission, set afterwards on the same day. Alison returns from a mission, a symmetric reversal from when she was off duty and roles were reversed… Haroun deals with the situation far better than Alison did at the time.

( I hated having to wait behind when you went out, when I was off duty. Drove me stir crazy. )

Set early Monday morning. Adjustments to the new 'ware have to be made on all levels, it seems, and Harouns' wardrobe is in for a serious rehaul. Not that this bothers Alison too much, truth be told.
