Fight Night!

As ordered, the X-Men report to the Danger Room for Boxing Night. It works better for some than others, and few of them are walking out of this unscathed.

( Leading off the night, weighing in at one hundred sixty-five pounds, the X-Men's esteemed captain, Scott 'Cyclops' Summers! And his opponent, weighing in at Don't-You-Dare-Ask, his co-leader, mean ol' Mother Nature herself, Ororo 'Storm' Munroe! Let's get it on! )

( In the first mixed-gender bout of the evening, we'll see berserker fury versus Southern rebellion when Logan gets called out by Miss Marie 'Rogue' D'Ancato! This one's looking like a real slobberknocker, folks! )

( No rest for the wicked or the team leader as Ol' One-Eye gets called out to the ring another time! His name's Kurt Wagner, but in the Munich circus they called him the Amazing Nightcrawler! Can leadership and experience match up against five feet ten inches of German fisticuffs? Buckle your swashes, there's the bell! )

( In a special Seniors Division bout, Logan takes to the ring again to meet the challenge of the guy who's responsible for the evening's entertainment, Nathan 'Cable' Dayspring! Repressed memories versus Evil Daddy Issues, who's got the pent-up aggression to take this one? )

( It looks like Nathan's cornerman's got his work cut out for him as we take a quick intermission. Grab your popcorn and get this man an icepack and a bucket of aspirin as the younger generation takes to the ring when the Battler from the Barrio, Angelo 'Skin' Espinosa calls out Logan in the underdog match of the century! )

Don't go anywhere, ladies and gentlemen! After a short intermission we'll return to the Danger Room at 1407 Greymalkin Lane for part two of Boxing Night! Stay tuned!

Boxing Night, Round Two

As promised, ladies and gentlemen, Boxing Night continues without a moment to catch your breath!

( North versus South! Poutine versus grits! It's the RCMP's finest versus the Mississippi River Rat herself as Garrison Kane finds himself in the ring with Marie in what looks to be the sleeper match of the night! Something tells me we're tossing out the rulebook for this one, fight fans! )

( And in our most anticipated match of the evening, in a fight that's been brewing since the moment these two saw each other, a rivalry for the ages! It's about pride, about honor, about a certain redhead with the legs that go all the way up to there, you know it's got to come down to this - Summers versus Logan, with only one man left standing! )

( And to close off the night, it's our main event Ladies' Match, ending it like we started with Ororo Munroe entering the ring to call out... ladies and gentlemen, this is a first as Storm takes on Phoenix in our main event! What can we expect when these two friends come to blows after so long separated? )

The first thing Alex does upon returning to the mansion is go see his older brother. Scott drags him down to the med lab as Alex tells him about his change of attitude. Needless to say Scott is relieved. This is the Summers brothers at their best.

( Funny thing about those wayward little brothers. They usually turn up again. )

Jean steers her tottering husband upstairs and dumps him in some nice hot water. Then joins him. (It's too bad he's one big bruise and not up for anything fun.) Oddly enough, they end the night laughing.
