Nico, Crystal and Dori are heading back home...but someone gets in the way.

Backdated to 29/11 for massive fail.

After much complaining and a good deal of sulking -which hadn't precisely vanished once they had arrived the airport- Nico and Dori were about to head back to the mansion with Crystal, where more scolding awaited them for sure. Trying to think about anything but the trouble she had gotten into, Nico washed her face on the ladies' bathroom, the cold water helping a little to dissipate her thoughts. "What's going to happen to us now?", asked anyway, realizing she couldn't just drop the subject and start thinking about polishing her nails. What a shame.

"That is not something that is up to me to decide," Crystal told her. "You caused people to be worried about you. You put yourselves in danger. Julian is not a student, and he let Jean know he was leaving and where he was going. The two of you are students, and you did not even tell anyone that you were leaving the cabin. All trips have chaperons for a reason. What you did was beyond skipping class for a day." In Crystal's book, skipping class without a valid reason, especially without notifying teachers in advance, was pretty bad right there. When she'd been a student at the school, she'd rarely skipped class, and when she did she let her teachers know she wouldn't be there. "I am sure that Professor Xavier will wish to speak with you when he returns from Muir."

Yep, they were pretty damn screwed. Sighing, Nico stared at her reflection on the mirror. She opened her mouth, but not excuse came out. She didn't have one, and wasn't sure of what to make out of everything. It had been a very dumb move alright, and the fact it was ridiculously short-lived didn't make it any better. Much worse, if anything. Cocking her head to a side, she turned towards Crystal with a neutral expression. She almost wished to keep getting scolded, so she would manage to realize just what she had done. "I suppose we deserve it, yeah."

"How is everyone totally okay with Julian walking into this?" Doreen returned. That didn't make any sense to her, and the threat of getting in trouble didn't weaken her resolve about it. She was only sorry that they were getting drug off, "That's just totally messed up."

"Who said that everyone is 'totally okay' with Julian's actions?" Crystal replied. "Whether or not what he did was right, his actions were independent of yours. Again, he let someone know where he was going; you did not. Did you think that those who had volunteered to supervise you would not notice that you were missing, or that they would not care? What did you think would happen when you made the decision to leave Warren's cabin without notifying Jean or Jan?"

"Oooooooooookay, Doreen, I think we should probably just let it die. I mean, it's not like something will change- hey!" Nico hadn't noticed it yet, but she had known, like when she was in front of the store her parents had used to trick her, or like when she had woken up after that dream, she suddenly knew something was happening. The glass on the bathroom became hazy, and smoke rose from the ground, walls, everywhere. "What going on?" She didn't manage to say more as two figures appeared, walking in circles around the three of them, just to dark figures in the smoke. Nico tried to move towards them, but suddenly her legs weren't working. Actually, the world seemed to be getting darker and the edges of her vision blurry. She opened her mouth to say something else, but no sound came as she just fell to the floor, eyes rolling as she passed out.
