Monster Mash | House Party

The Halloween party is in full swing. Various parts of the mansion and grounds have been decorated--the chapel housing eXcal and Avalon is half-lit and shadowy, and the Xavier family crypt (with its assortment of simple gravestones and mausoleums) is casting long shadows over the lawn from the mix of fading daylight and flickering lights. There are snacks throughout the mansion, everything from your standard candy and junk food fare to themed treats. Drinks in the common areas are mostly non-alcoholic, but if you stop by the bar there’s a few mixed punches designed for the over-21s (or the under-21s who are smart enough to not put themselves into a position where the older adults pay attention).

The second floor rec room has been playing a curated list of Halloween movies all day--mostly more lighthearted spooks like Hocus Pocus, Ghostbusters, and The Addams Family, with the second TV room on the floor showing animated movies and TV specials like Scooby Doo and It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! The third floor rec room is showing more classic horror, from The Creature from the Black Lagoon to iconic Hitchcock. A lot of the fancier snacks are in the ballroom, and there’s themed music and sounds playing in the room. Some of the classrooms with TVs are in use too, as people grab snacks and decide they want to watch a specific movie or show. The lawn is fully decorated, cobwebs and dancing skeletons with wireframe ghosts and straw-stuffed monsters.

Monster Mash | Wrapped and Rotting Undeath

As Satanna’s curse envelops the mansion, residents find themselves in various classic horror stories.


Marie-Ange, Angelo, and Jean end up exploring the tomb of Seti the First, where they run afoul of the tomb’s curse, and encounter the mummified remains of Gabriel and Jubilee.

( Seti the first can think about what his tomb has done to my hair. )

Arthur, Meggan, and Molly end up in a graveyard full of zombies looking for snacks. Nica and Maya get a taste for human flesh.

( But this isn't the football field, unless Principal Sylvester let the dance committee go really overboard. )

Monster Mash | Packs and Sparks

Professor Gibney runs Parkour club and turns into a creature of the night. Artie, Alani, and Alison find this out in unfortunate ways before America can step in.

Dr. Darcy Lewistein, her companion Kurt, and latest creation Doug run into trouble from inspectors Matt and Bobby.

Monster Mash | Gothic Horror

Emma and NamorVictor hunger for blood… and the pleasures of the flesh. Amanda is eager, Alex and Terry aren’t completely opposed… and Betsy would just like to slay the foul fiends, please.

( The remnants of his shirt and jacket lay strewn across an armchair, but the rest of what must be a library sat pristine. )

As our victims succumb to the pleasures of the night, the curse Satanna placed on the Necronomicon breaks, and the Necronomicon hurtles itself its next appearance in space and time.

Monster Mash | A Rip in Time (saves none)

Topaz and Wanda get home just in time to be rudely sobered up by the blast of magic Avalon emits as the Necronomicon vanishes itself into the fabric of time and space. Along the way, they collect a similarly affected Amanda, as well as Marie-Ange, Doug, and Darcy.
