Set after these two threads, and a log that is forthcoming.

This could safely be added to Shinobi's list of least-favourite days in recent memory. Sitting crosslegged on the floor at the foot of his bed, he scowls down at his laptop, which would likely paint a more unhappy picture if he wasn't _covered_ in glitter. The red of his hair was scarcely visible under the shiny multi-colored blanket covering it, a fair amount clinging to his skin and t-shirt, as well. Only a few speckles had made it to his pants, though that's probably explained by the pair of very shiny jeans and matching sweatshirt in the laundry hamper. His left cheek is propped up in a hand, which is holding a baggy of ice to the darkening bruise there.

Sarah comes into the room (after pretending she hadn't just climbed up a flight of stairs for him...) blinking at the sheer amount of glitter in the room. "Fuck. I think I'm blind." She sits on the edge of Shinobi's bed, and ruffles her hand through his hair, causing another layer of glitter to coat his clothing. Well, at least it wasn't in his hair anymore. "So what happened exactly?"

"Sorry about that," Shinobi replies at blinding her, smiling wryly and closing the laptop before it, too, can be buried in glitter. He sets it aside, closing his eyes with an amused look as Sarah's hand sends more of the glitter stuck in his hair cascading down around his shoulders. "Mandy and Manny were bounding through the halls, dumping glitter on inanimate objects," he shrugs, tilting his head back to peek up at her. "Babbling.. must've been drunk or high. The bruise is from Manny's walking stick. He was aiming for my eye. Something about being a capitalist tool or something, I wasn't really listening."

She continues to run a hand through his hair, each time watching more glitter fall. It was like a neverending rain of sparkles. "Not your fault. What'd they mistake you for the furniture or something?" She smiles, brushing off his shoulder with her finger (everything else was boned). "I hope you knocked him over."

He shakes his head, though not very much, since having fingers playing in his hair is something he's finding remarkably soothing. "I might tomorrow, when he's sobered up a bit. I didn't want to be around him while he was high as a kite and saying something about forgetting. I'm officially in full-blown paranoid mode, I think." Briefly scowling, he shifts in place enough to lightly pillow his head in Sarah's lap, balancing the homemade icepack on his cheek. After a moment's pause, he speaks again, tone of voice gentle and concerned. "So.. what's gotten you riled?"

"That I can't remember." She brushes glitter absently from his face, while she talks. "I don't know what happened, or who to hurt, and I don't even know if I did anything worthwhile during the attack. One chance to really fight, and all I know I did for sure was pass out in the computer lab downstairs." As she talks, her hands get a little rougher.

He doesn't really mind the increasing roughness of her fingers, closing his eyes and making a quiet noise of understanding. "I could always let you beat the everloving shit out of me, if you want," he suggests, absentmindedly tossing the nearly-melted icepack off towards the trash. "Wouldn't leave any lasting damage, and it might be kind of fun anyways.. and you _will_ remember, Sarah. I know it."

She leans down and kisses his forehead. "I hope so." She stays there, close to his face and smiles. "I can think of several other things I'd like to do to you, that don't involve me beating the shit out of you. And besides, you've already got one bruise on that pretty face of yours."

"Only because he got in a lucky shot when I was distracted," Shinobi counters, smiling and opening his eyes, the smile widening a little at the close proximity she's left herself in. "But I am, of course, open to other ideas.. I am nothing if not accomodating, especially when it comes to you."

"You're too kind," she says, sitting up and pushing him gently away. "Let's get you in the shower before you get any more glitter on me. People'll start to wonder if I show up to class all sparkly."

"You could say Jono's moved on to glitter from Christmas lights," he suggests innocently as he's nudged away, dutifully shifting to pick himself back up to his feet. "But, yes. A lack of glitter would be good. Can't really take myself seriously when I'm shiny, nevermind expect anybody else to."

"Lesson three hundred and twenty six," Sarah says, standing and brushing as much of the glitter off of her as she can, "How to be intimidating while sparkly."

Shinobi stops himself short of lending her a hand, since.. well, the glitter from his hair's on her lap, and if he did that, they'd probably never get to the shower to get the rest of the crap off of him. So, hands are safely stuffed into his pockets instead. "Wonder if Emma's going to cover that one in Speech," he muses quietly, tilting his head to one side thoughtfully.

Well it's a good thing to know that Sarah won't hear anything if she's not paying attention. She bounces a little, more glitter falling from her pants. "Remind me to hit Amanda later. Y'know, after the glitter has magically disappeared."

"I could give you the carton of smokes I promised her in punishment," Shinobi offers, smiling angelically as he unpockets his hands long enough to eye them, trying to decide if they're free enough of glitter to pick up a towel now or if he should just let his clothes soak up the water once he's showered. Not like they won't be getting washed when he gets back upstairs anyway. "Especially if it doesn't magically disappear. I think Marko and she will be having words, anyways, for those poor vases."

Sarah laughs. "Oh. That would be hysterical to watch." No, she's not evil. Really. "And I could use another pack of cigarettes."

With a sage nod, he offers her an arm, wiggling his eyebrows cheerfully. "It's yours, then. Her own fault for making me all sparkly. If this stuff doesn't wash out well, I may be forced to give her more homework.. would that be abusing my position?"

"Yes. But I think it would be worth it." She takes his arm, reaching up to scratch his head again and watch more glitter tumble down. "Where the fuck did they get all of this?"

"Think she was magicking it," Shinobi sighs, lifting his free hand to rub his eyes before shrugging his shoulders helplessly. "She'll likely be getting words from Pete, too, in that case. But.. not our problem. Only way it affects us is getting the fun of washing it off." He beams. "Shall we?"

Laughing, Sarah gives him a not so innocent look. "Getting clean was never so much fun."
