As I said I would in our conversation on Tuesday, I've sent you a little something that will help you keep track of Amanda's power levels. I have to admit, Henry's call about her healing of your burn victim did bother me, especially since there's no way she should be able to use that much magic over such a distance at her current levels. I'll be doing some research, and asking around, for some idea of what could possibly be causing such a power jump. The mansion isn't built on a native sacred site or anything, is it?
The enclosed crystal will act as a kind of mystical Geiger counter - the more power Amanda is channelling, the brighter it will glow. Ideally she should wear it, but we both know the chances of that are pretty slim, and she'd know something was up - suspicious little minx, is Amanda. And I'd rather not upset her until I have a better idea of what is causing this. Keep the crystal on your desk and use it during your sessions with her to keep an eye on how 'hot' she's running.
If the crystal glows white-hot, I'd suggest you call me immediately. I doubt it will - there are few sites or artefacts with _that_ much power - but you never know. There wasn't supposed to be anything there at all, as I recall. Damn coincidence.
