I was wondering whether you might have the contacts necessary to find out the condition of Savannah Davidson, a baby girl admitted to the hospital in Cherry Hill, MD, on January 27. I brought her in around 8:30pm from a car crash on MD-295 with head and internal injuries and hypothermia. If you have a way to find out about her, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks, Marie

I'll see what I can do. It may take some time for me to find out anything useful, depending on her condition, the willingness of the staff to tell me anything, and how well I convince them that I'm someone who needs to know. I'll let you know as soon as I know anything.

Baby Davidson, according to the helpful staff at Cherry Hill Memorial Hospital, is suffering no ill effects from the cold. In fact, they believe that the hypothermia actually helped prevent more serious brain damage. They are currently keeping her in a medication-induced coma in order to reduce the chances of further damage to her brain and spinal cord.
I seem to have made a friend in the PICU, so I'll keep you updated, as I learn more.

Thank you so much. I owe you for this one, Dr. Bartlet. I have some brownies and cookies here, would you like me to run them down? Jamie and I did some baking this afternoon.

You're welcome. You don't owe me a thing, but I do have a soft spot for sweets. I'm a donut girl at heart, but a brownie would be lovely, if you don't mind.

I'll be right down. It means a lot to me to know what happened to the baby.
