Amara had had a lot of help setting up things for the bonfire, for which she was extremely grateful. The area she'd chosen for the bonfire had been cleared out, with a few large logs strewn around for people to sit on. Sam had set up the bonfire itself, so all she needed to do was light it. Which she did, carefully concentrating on creating a flame big enough to set the logs on fire, but small enough not to set of her fire form. As fun as that could be, she would really rather not burn up the clothes she was wearing. But she did manage to get it lit, without setting any of herself on fire.
She had more than enough ingredients for smores on hand, and while she could have bought sticks to roast the marshmellows on (what?) she definitely passed on that. Toasting marshmellows on a fire was definitely far more fun on whatever sticks you found lying around the place. ... and okay while she'd done the hunt and washed them down as best she could before the night, they were still totally authentic. For all intents and purposes the night went well - people came and went as they pleased, sometimes the whole group talking over one another and at other points more private conversations going on. It was just a time to relax and spend time with the people of Xavier's - friends and family, and then the friends you hadn't really met yet.
ooc: i am so sorry this is so late, i'm still recovering!
