xp_logsTabitha drags Ororo and Dani to Grand Cayman for Spring Break. While there she encounters someone she NEVER expected to see on a tropical island. Post-dated due to player brain-fart....
Tabitha stepped off the elevator carefully, she hadn't been in heels since her knee injury and didn't want to land flat on her face in front of any cute cabana boys. She smoothed the silk of her short dress over her hips and took a deep breath. She kept her eyes open for Ro and Dani, but she was extremely early, nerves having made her preparation time rather short.
She paused by a mirror to check her hair, the upswept style felt precarious, despite the number of pins in it.
"And here I thought I was going insane, what with your emotional rampage following me around at a hotel." Dressed in a fine black suit, Manuel stood behind her and locked dark european eyes with hers. His fingers lightly touched her back and the faintest sound of a zipppp could be heard.
Tabs' eyes widened faintly. "Of all the people I didn't expect to see here. The biggest pain in my ass appears out of nowhere." She turned her back to the mirror to face Manuel. "What on EARTH are you doing on Grand Cayman?"
"Stalking you, clearly," he replied drily. "Since I have nothing better to do in my life than chase blondes in hopes to best them in bed."
Tabitha bit down on her tongue to keep herself from blushing. She attempted to cover her heated pulse with a snort. "I imagine blondes aren't in short supply for you, wherever you may choose to toss your boots." She narrowed her eyes at him. "You just enjoy tormenting me, don't you?"
"I live for it," he replied with an air of annoyance. "You rise to the occasion every time. If you'll excuse me, I have someone to meet."
"Don't let me stop you," Tabs shrugged. "I have my own date." It was with friends, but the waiters were hot and there WAS a dance show tonight.
