Korvus, Meggan, Molly, Matt, and Artie go to see Real Steel with Marie-Ange and Wade, then have pizza afterward - with some interesting topping choices.

Wade grinned as they exited the movie theater, finishing off his drink and dropping the cup into a trash can before saying, "So, that was good, right?" It had been a while since he'd seen a movie in an actual theater, but from what he recalled, the popcorn hadn't been nearly as buttery back in the day. "Korvus, was it really different from Indian theaters?"

"It was." Korvus nodded. "The cinema I have seen was in Hindi. And musical." He added as he thought about it.

"Musical?" That didn't sound right, "That's lame. This movie was awesome though!" he mined a few jabs and a left hook as they walked out, using his powers not to hit others, but he was letting Wade guide him instead of using his cane.

"Bollywood." Marie-Ange said, by way of explanation. "A great many movies in India have music and dance. It is ... fun. Korvus, some of the theaters show a few Bollywood movies from time to time, I can see if Doug will send you their webpage addresses." They'd gone to a handful of foreign cinema movies when they were dating, it was sort of fun to get Doug's translations instead of the subtitles. "I would like that. I have been unable to follow the newest releases." Korvus consented with a smile.

Meggan grinned at Wade’s question. “I thought it was wonderful! It was very fun,” she enthused. Just as she had hoped it would be. At Korvus’ comment, she realized she had never seen a Bollywood movie before. Genuinely curious, she asked, “So, if that were a Bollywood movie, would the little boy have been singing and dancing to get the plot going even more? Since Atom the Robot was very busy throwing punches during the last match?” And likely wouldn’t have been very graceful in its movements if it tried, being a robot and all.

Korvus laughed softly and smiled. "The music is more integrated into the entire performance. I will show you some movies soon." He offered.

"And the bad dancing," Artie offered, typing it into his speech synthesizer in a moment of kindness to Matt. He followed it up with a slightly flickery scene of Bollywood dancing.

"It's not bad," Wade said, his tone almost philosophical as he led the way down the street, careful to make sure he wasn't running Matt into anything or anyone. "It's just different. I mean, it takes talent and skill and balance and all that other stuff, not to mention coordination, do dance like they do in Bollywood movies. I know I wouldn't be able to do it - I mean, I'd look ridiculous, but that's beside the point. Also, pizza - hoooooooooo!" With that, he swept his free arm up and pointed at their destination. Marie-Ange had only just managed to convince him that taking a group of kids in their late teens to a Chuck-E-Cheez would be a bad idea, but it had been a near thing.

"Can Dr. Beast make a punching robot?" Molly said, punctuating her statement with a few quick jabs to the air. "Cause then we could let it fight too! Two robots!"

She squinted at the pizza place. Her stomach growled in agreement.

"Mmmm."

"There is nothing better than New York pizza!" Matt proclaimed, more than pleased with their post-movie food choice. "Anyways, that was completely unrealistic! Forget the whole fighting robots thing, there is no way you can just jab, jab, jab and TKO!" he punctuated his words with the appropriate motions. "I know boxing and that was just Hollywood bullshit!" He had enjoyed the movie regardless of being able to see it. All he had to go on was what the audio description was on his headset for the action anyways.

"I dunno," Wade said, grinning mischievously as he opened the door and paused to let the other kids and Marie-Ange walk through before him and Matt. "I kinda like Chicago style pizza, personally. Or that thin crust you can get from Dominoes..." Of course, given Matt's critique of the boxing in the movie, Wade could only concur - and say that movies rarely got anything right. They definitely usually got the gun thing wrong and that annoyed him more than he usually let himself let on.

"Traitor. New York pizza is the best!" Matt asserted.

"I like all the pizza," Molly said. Her question was not answered from before so she repeated it.

"Can Dr. Beast make a punching robot?"

Before they entered, Meggan had quickly nodded her agreement to Korvus—she wanted to see something Bollywood someday, so she would know what they were like. ”So do I, Molly, so long as whatever kind doesn’t come with a surprise fish layer. Which it shouldn't,” she laughed. She would never be a fan of anchovies. Fish didn't taste right on pizza. The depth of the crust had never mattered to her.

She thought about that for a moment. “Maybe Dr. McCoy could make a smaller version of Atom the Robot, I don’t know. You could always ask, you could use it for practice if he could. Even if it came out slightly sentient like the coffee machine, it could still be fun for you,” she suggested.

"Doctor McCoy did design the drones for the Danger Room, and he worked with Forge to make a robot squid once. I am almost certain he could build a punching robot." Marie-Ange explained. "As I recall, some of the Danger Room drones punch back, so it would perhaps not even be terribly difficult." She attempted - and failed - to let Wade let her take the door, and gave up, leading the rest of the kids to a table off to one side. "Perhaps I should suggest to Kurt that what the Dance class should learn this semester is Bollywood style dancing. I am sure he would think that was a grand idea." she said mischievously.

Korvus laughed softly. "I would not be of any assistance in that class. Filmi music is not a traditional Hindi production and, as such, I was not taught how to dance to it."

"Huh," Wade said, flagging the waitress down after making sure Matt got a seat. "Still, you had dancing lessons, right? That's pretty cool." He waited until everyone else had ordered their drinks before getting a water for himself and raising one finger. "Before we go any further, you need to know that I have absolutely vetoed anchovies. There will be no mini dead fish on any of the pizzas we order and eat this evening." He was smiling, though - if one of them really wanted anchovies, he figured he could just order them their very own pizza.

"Says you," Artie offered, typing furiously. "I'll pay for mine then. I want anchovies. Also, egg, mushroom, pineapple and extra salami. On a meatlovers. Is good. Molly, you should have some."

Molly squinted thoughtfully. "So it's like a breakfast pizza....with salami? And pineapple and other stuff. Neat!" she said, then brightened. "Okay!" New things were fun to try. Except for when they weren't. But this was a fun try.

Wade wrinkled his nose at that combination, then laughed a little and reached over to straighten Molly's hat. Glancing over toward Artie, he said, "Oh, I'm paying for it, don't even try. You just get to have your own mini pizza while the rest of us enjoy things like green peppers and onions and olives." Quirking an eyebrow, he looked over toward Meggan and Korvus. "Do either of you have anything specific you want on your pizza?"

Korvus shook his head. "I will defer to your expertise on Americanized pizza."

"Just cheese and pepperoni pizza for me...maybe with a few of those little olives, too, though, they sound good," Meggan requested. She had never heard of egg pizza, and wondered if it ended up scrambled first. "Right," Wade said as the waitress approached again with their drinks. He ordered all the pizzas, double checking on Artie's just to make sure he got all the stuff he wanted on there, and had to laugh at the woman's face as she walked off. That was at an awful lot of pizza for just six people.
