Who: Kitty and Jubilee
Where: Their Room
When: Saturday Evening, 7:18pm
Summary: Kitty teaches Jubilee web searching. They discuss the trip to Chicago and Guido.

"Make sense?" Kitty asked, leaning back from her computer. "It's really
not that hard, and you get better with practice."

Jubilee nodded, looking up from the notes she'd been making as Kitty
showed her. She wasn't sure if the Internet would have anything on those
markings she'd seen on Amanda's body, but she was going to find out.

"I think I've got it, it does seem simple but that could just be 'cause
you're showing me. So, now that's out of the way, what's new on the
roomie front? How was your trip?"

"Well, you know, if it gets confusing again it's not like I'm all that
hard to find," Kitty said with a grin. "And the trip was a lot of fun. I
got to show Jamie some of my old stomping grounds in Chicago, and met
the mythic Guido. Plus, road trips equal excellent, right?"

"How about you?" she added. "Have fun in Merry Olde England? I see you
and M-A both made it back without any major damage, so you must not have
gotten into too much trouble." Kitty grinned, amused by her roommate's
on again off again battle with the French girl.

Jubilee chuckled, leaning back in the chair and stretching her arms up
to the ceiling.

"Was pretty cool actually. Went clubbing at this place that was so
weird. People were actually dressing up like mutants, even though they
weren't. Like, not that I'd ever give up being a mutant if I had the
choice, but it was kinda nice being in a place where you didn't have to
worry about people knowing you were one. Had it out with Marie-Ange too,
we were both being cranky monkeys at the airport and not really
listening, I guess. So, you got to meet Guido, hey? Like, what's he like?"

"That had to have been strange," Kitty said. "I mean, total cognitive
dissonance, since we keep getting in trouble with the locals for being
mutants. And flying always makes me kind of cranky. Can't even imagine
what it'd be like going overseas."

She paused for a second, considering Jubilee's other question. "Guido...
Guido really was kind of mythic. He's kind of huge, and really, _really_
charming and outgoing, but he seemed really laid back at the same time.
It was interesting."

Jubilee grinned. "Sounds like someone I'd get along with. So, what did
Jamie think about Chicago? Like, did you guys get time to go out
somewhere nice?"

"I think you would have liked him. In Chicago we all went out to dinner
- there's this new place that opened up, basically it's just a desert
bar, and it is filled with yummy. Then Jamie and I went wandering, which
was nice."

"If you're ever in Chicago again, remind me to tag along. So, wanna go
play some Xbox? I just bought some new two person fighting games I wanna
try out."

"Yeah, sure. On both counts. I'd love to show you around Chicago."
Standing up and stretching, Kitty nodded towards the door. "Let's go"
