Julian and Tandy try on their Halloween costumes.

"Here you are." Tandy dropped off the mask and cap on the couch as she held her own costume in her other arm. "And you said you have a Tux right?"

With an exaggerated scoff Julian picked up his costume pieces, "For the sake of our friendship, I'll pretend you didn't ask that." He donned the cap and grabbed the garment bag draped over the desk chair. "Do you want to use the bathroom, or shall I?"

"I was just asking because you were getting a fitting from Adri for a reason. Or you just like to walk around in your boxers for no reason in a suite that isn't yourse." Tandy turned and walked to the bathroom. "I'll take the bathroom."

With a shrug, Julian began to strip off his sweater and slacks, hanging the bag on the wall and gently setting the hat on the desk next to the mask. "I needed a new suit- there's a very slight, but important difference. I have a feeling that Adrienne just wanted to see me in my shorts, and for the record, I'd be fine with us changing in the same area," he grinned, knowing such talk typically made Tandy blush.

"Right. Tell that to her boyfriend." Tandy called out and shook her head at his next line. "And let you take peeks?" She put on the outfit and looked in the mirror, she forgot how short the skirts were and was wondering how Topaz was going to feel about that. "Better leave that to your imagination."

"I have a terrible imagination," Julian chuckled, "I require visual aides." He slipped on the button up shirt, freshly pressed, followed by the pants. "So how are you doing? It's been a while since I've asked."

"Ah, sadly I will not help you with visual aids." Tandy fixed the bow and smirked to herself. She did look like a sailor scout now. "How am I doing with putting on clothes? Or in general?"

"Well, I'm happy to lend a hand in there if you need it- but I'm pretty sure I know the answer to that," his white vest in place, Julian shrugged on the coat, getting the bow-tie ready as he continued, "No, I more meant in general. We don't talk about that stuff very often, I just wanted to make sure you're cool."

Tandy opened the door that lead back into the suite and looked at Julian. "I am a big girl. I can put on my own clothing." All she was really missing was the boots, tiara, gloves, and her hair did. "I am fine. Well besides the sleepless nights. But I am cool."

"My offer to play video games with you if you can't sleep is still good- it's not like I have anywhere I have to be these days and I think there's a new Boarderlands coming out soon." Finishing the bow-tie with his back turned to her, he donned the hat and mask- only the cape was missing as he turned to face Tandy. A beat of silence passed as he took in her sailor scout uniform, finally broken by a simple, "Wow."

"I can usually be found in the common area with Topaz. We have a fondness of watching infomercials." Raising an eyebrow and then smirked. "There will be five of us running around. Think you can handle that?"

"Most assuredly," he smirked, taking a few steps toward her, "it's the rest of the world I worry about. Five sailor scouts unleashed on an unsuspecting populace?" He mocked a shudder, "Are we still on for making an appearance at that party?"

"Pretty sure we aren't the first ones to go as the sailor scouts." Tandy smirked, looking down at her outfit. "Only for a little bit. Promised the girls I would do this thing with them."

Julian resisted the urge to comment on her legs. "Of course," he smiled, "just a quick stop off there, then back in time for the best parts of the party."

"Of course. Your tie is off."

Glancing down he noted that the bow tie was slightly off kilter with a sigh, "I could never get the hang of these things- and this one is so small."

"I thought you said you own tuxs?" Tandy moved away from the doorframe to fix his tie. "Don't ask me how I know how to tie one."

"Own them, yes. Wore them often, yes," Julian straightened as she began to fiddle with the bit of cloth around his neck. "I always either had people around to help with this sort of thing- either employees, or...or my mother."

Tandy tugged at the ends and patted his shoulder. "Employees? The only person that ever came to my parents house was the house cleaning lady."

"I don't think anyone here really understands how wealthy my family is-er" the proud grin that had come across his face faded at once as his demeanor became more sheepish. "Was, I mean." Pressing onward, "We had butlers, gardeners, chefs- tutors in the summer to make sure we didn't forget what we'd learned...and always lots of security."

"What exactly did your parents do?" Tandy asked unable to imagine herself with hired help. She had seen the amount she was to inherit but didn't think would ever need all those people.

"Keller Industries had its hands in a few different pots- but it started in manufacturing. Dad started investing the money into other businesses and various enterprises, and the rest is history," Julian shrugged and moved to a nearby mirror, checking her handy work. "Nicely done," looking for a moment longer, "I should wear a mask more often."

"Hmm interesting." Tandy turned away to find a mirror in his room. "Thanks. Yea, no one wants to see that face." She turned to stick her tongue out at him.

Turning to look at Tandy he feigned injury, "But Sailor Moon, don't you want to know the identity of the enigmatic Tuxedo Mask?"

Tandy turned while making a thinking face, "Nah I am good."

"Too bad!" Julian whipped the mask off, with a little less care than he probably should have in hindsight. "It was me all along...surprised?"

"You ruined the illusion." Tandy teased. "Alright I am changing back into regular clothes."
