Jubilee and North continue to shadow the cruise ship, using the information feed to them to narrow down their targets

The Atlantic wasn’t exactly the best place to be running data intensive searches, but the satellite uplink that they’d lash up had a strong signal, so long as the weather held. They were six hours behind the cruise ship, moving in a complex sine-wave to stay inside the communication range of their teammates without looking like they were tailing the ship. Their own transponder had been modified to send out a new single every twelve hours, so even if they were picked up, it would seem to be a different ship inside their range. The schematics of the ship that the Emperor of the Seas had been built on had been forwarded and they had plenty of time to dissect the complex details.

"Do you want the chocolate or the orange cookies?" Jubilee asked as she waved two bags at North.

She'd just brought the schematics up on her tablet screen and was currently looking at the bottom level of the ship.

Her companion grabbed the bag of orange cookies in lieu of a reply, tearing it open and popping one in his mouth before offering it back to her. North had a sheet of A3 paper spread open in front of him where he had scratched out a rough approximation of the ship's layout. Tapping the butt of his pencil against the 'X' marked 'Security Office', he traced a route to the rectangle labelled 'Bridge' and grabbed another cookie. Jubilee's snacking habits were beginning to rub off on him, it seemed. "Found the power room yet?"

"Just now, looks like there's two exits - one from below and another from above. Looking for another way to the lower levels now - gonna be easier then coming from above," Jubilee murmured - munching on a cookie as she pushed down a level on the schematics. "There! An entrance from the crew quarters lets you get down there without mucking about in the more public corridors - guess they don't want the grease monkies frightening the bridge crew."

"Well done." He marked out the route with arrows, working backwards. "And is only one entrance to the bridge, unless you feel like scaling the side of the ship and jimmying a window? Choice of best route -- crew quarters to bridge or security office to bridge?"

"Crew quarters is probably faster but we could risk them alerting the security office and than we've got the whole ship on alert." Jubilee replied, moving the ship's schematics around as she worked on the problem. "Here - we could bring the boat in level with the ship and climb our way up - which should put us just outside the bridge."

"All right. Bridge first. Then security office and the power room -- May have to split up for those, though that is not preferable. And since we cannot take on the whole ship at once, I propose that take down is preferable to knock out."

North traced the routes out again, matching them up with the blueprints on the tablet for good measure, as Jubilee worked out their escape paths. When both spies had the necessary details memorized, he tore up the paper he had been working on into small strips and stacked them into an ash tray in a neat bundle. "I am going for a smoke. Please excuse me."
