Rogue sees Dominion in distress and comes over to keep Black Widow from finishing him off.
Black Widow put a second shock from her power batons into Dominion just to make sure he was actually unconscious. All of the abilities Kane had, she'd managed to hit on one of his weak areas and take him down. The other X-Man had gone to try and contain the Hulk, not seeing his companion's fate. However, Rogue had seen the blast that took him down, and Logan's arrival gave her the opportunity to go and help him.
Growling, Rogue ran right to Dominion's prone body, tackling Black Widow from behind. "You bitch," she screamed out, taking full advantage of the surprise to punch her adversary in the head.
Somehow, the blonde rolled with the blow, robbing it of her prodigious power. "I've been called worse." She said, her Russian accent noticeable. She rolled away from Rogue and lashed out with a pair of her Widow Sting projectiles, trying to immobilize her as well.
Such was Rogue's fury that she didn't notice one of the projectiles until it was too late. The numbness quickly turned to burning which in turn caused her anger to increase. Reaching down, she grabbed a piece of debris before lobbing it at Black Widow's head. "I can say worse, but there could be human beings around."
She ignored the taunt, slipping under the debris and coming up with her shock sticks swinging. The ends of the batons crackled as the arced through the air in dizzying figure eights as she closed with Rogue.
Rogue's instant reaction was to put up her arms, and brave the electrical impulses. Unfortunately for her, the voltage was much higher than anticipated, and she immediately found herself frozen to the spot. Those few seconds allowed the Black Widow to close the gap between them and get a few hits in.
Helplessly, Rogue tried to will her body back into cooperation, but by the time it did, she was more unsteady. Definitely had a concussion. "So that's how y'all fight? Weapons against bare hands? Shame. Thought you were more of a warrior than that."
"You put down your super-strength and I'll drop these." Widow hissed at her, landing a kick in on her ribs.
Rogue rolled with the kick, grabbing at the other woman's foot in the process and sending her adversary spinning. As quickly as she could, she launched herself towards Kane's body. At this point, she wasn't going to win this fight and she knew it. All she could do was make sure Kane was okay.
