Clint distributes towels and has the officially Worst Idea Ever (tm).

Clint had an armful of towels that he'd scrounged up below decks as he made his way toward the railing. "Okay, who's down there that'll need a towel or six? Cause I gotchu covered!"

"Please tell me they've been warmed up," Wanda responded, shuddering as the wind chilled her even further while she climbed back onto the boat. There wasn't a part of her that didn't ache or that wasn't frozen solid, though she welcomed the ache in her legs. It was nice just to have legs again. Snagging two towels, she quickly wrapped herself in one - being naked in front of others didn't bother her in the slightest but she needed something on while she tried to find her clothes.

"Not warmed, I'm afraid," Clint said, snorting softly. He glanced over the edge of the ship to check that everyone else was on their way up and didn't need assistance. "We were a bit busy fending off our very own shark-and-crab-nado, actually." Glancing back toward Wanda, he half-asked, "Seems like you guys found Scott's dad and his people?"

At least they were warm enough, she thought, in the process of vigorously towel drying her hair. Wanda peeked out at Clint from beneath hair and towel and nodded. "Everything's been taken care of, thankfully. And I'm too tired to ask what a shark-and-crab-nado is, though it sounds rather stressful. Oh thank god, there they are." Wanda pounced on the small pile of clothes covered by the jacket she'd left earlier.

Movement out of the corner of his eye caught Clint's attention. Turning to look back over the railing, he blinked carefully and asked, "Did you bring back some friends?"

"Ugh, are they still there?" Padding over to the railing, she yanked her shirt over her head before peering down. "Little bastards started following me after everything ended. I think they were entranced by what my hair had turned into."

"What'd your hair turn into?" Clint asked the question without actually processing what the answer might be, but it was too late to take it back now. Also, the little creatures in the water were oddly... cute? Sort of?

"Tentacles, I believe." Wanda was, honestly, far too matter a fact about the whole thing. Now fully dressed except for her shoes, she flipped off the little squid creatures sadly circling the boat in the waters below. "It was something for the record books, I would think."

Reaching over, Clint folded down Wanda's middle finger and said, "Hey, based on their size, they're just babies. Also, I bet you looked totally badass with tentacles for hair."

"You are't wrong." Though, honestly, it wasn't like she had a mirror handy to really see what was going on with the transformation. But how wrong could she be? Of course she would have looked badass. Wanda pointed a non-middle finger at the squids. "Babies, perhaps, but that doesn't mean they are not murder squids. Simply ... baby murder squids."

Clint snorted. "They're not murder squids by nature. As long as people aren't turning them into murder squids, humans have nothing to worry about."

Wanda gave him a Look before wandering over to sit down nearby. "Are you speaking from your vast murder squid raising experience, Barton?" she asked, absently running a hand through her tangled locks. Already plans for a long bubble bath were forming in her mind.

"I don't have any of that," Clint said, waving a hand. "But I wanna keep 'em. Can I keep 'em?"

A hand stilled in her hair as she sharply glanced his way. "Clint, no."

Turning a wide grin on his friend, Clint waggled his eyebrows at Wanda. "Clint yes."

There was a serous thought about stopping him as he ran around gathering up some containers but, honestly, Wanda was too tired to care. Shrugging, she laid down and threw an arm over her eyes to block the sun. "Don't come running to me when the baby murder squid eat your face."
