Demon Bear: Bearpicious

xp_logsDarcy, Pixie, Nica and Clea find Sharon, Molly, and Megan. The girls think of a clever way on not to get seperated.
Darcy peeked around the corner from her spot at the front of the group. "I think it's clear," she stage whispered to the three behind her, walking around the corner. A few more steps and pounding footsteps came her way. "NOPE WRONG" Darcy screamed as she started to backpedal. The demonic bear's ear twitched, but it didn't even take the small group into consideration as it kept running.
"Okay uh. That was weird. That was weird, right?"
"Considering it's been trying to make us its chew toys every five minutes, yeah," Nica said, watching the departing creature with suspicion. "So, now what?"
Pixie feared the demon bear could still be heading toward them - just them in another time and place of this distorted realm. But she shook her head to dismiss that thought. "We're in a magic realm, we should be able to use magic to find our friends. Like a tracking spell."
"Here are some of those at least." Sharon called out as she came from behind something tree like. "We've also seen some of the others, but they vanished again."
Molly made a face. "Totally like Scooby Doo," she said, eying the area around her, fists clenched and prepared to punch.
"Okay, so....maybe we should stick together so no one else goes poof....like literally? Maybe....everybody hold hands or link arms or something?"
Clea had been staring in the direction of where the demon bear had been before her attention returned to the group, "Huh?" She said before she registered what was being said. "Ah, yes....I am getting frustrated that we keep losing people when we turn our heads for just a moment."
"Hold hands, belt loops, ponytails... I don't really care, but everyone grab a part of someone else that won't get you slapped or make sure two people are holding onto you if you need your hands free." Scooby Doo made this look way more comical than Darcy was currently feeling. She regretted that her bag didn't have rope in it, and resolved to change that once they were outta this place.
"That works." Sharon shrugged as she grabbed a shoulder, keeping the other other free to help with something if needed.
“Hands or hair, whichever you want to grab should be fine,” Meggan said as she held out her left hand for the next person as Sharon grabbed the other shoulder. That was her first choice, but anything had to do in a pinch. The mention of Scooby Doo almost made her expect a person to be just around the corner, or behind a tree, wearing a silly bear mask in the end of it all, but it definitely wasn’t that simple.
Pixie linked her left arm with that of the closest person on her left, then crossed it across her body to grab Sharon's offered hand. This left her right hand free to draw the tracking spell. While she could also use her left, she preferred to fall back on practice. "This won't work on someone unfamiliar, like that bear, but it should totally work on our friends," she said as she began the motions and incantations of the spell. Will O' Wisp appeared, but orange in color, and began trailing down a hallway.
Clea as linked her right arm with Pixie and then held out her arm for Nica, "This should work."
"At least until I have to ghost out," Nica said wryly as she took Clea's arm and reached out to Rahne. "I'll try and avoid that, since it doesn't help against this damn thing any way."
