Log: Bobbi and Lorna, Tuesday afternoon

xp_logsBobbi and Lorna discuss the upcoming rules for Bobbi's week as boss.
Bobbi finished listing out her three rules for the week:
1 - Practice with at least one (1) new weapon/tool with which you are unfamiliar.
2 - Practice using at least one (1) new surveillance/investigative technique with which you are unfamiliar.
3 - Take Ka-Zar for a walk at least one (1) time this week.
She was more than willing to help with all three of the tasks, though she figured the last one was (hopefully) more for fun than the first two. At least to those who like cute dogs, and come on, who didn't like cute dogs?
"How is it going?" Lorna asked coming into the office and putting down her bag on her desk.
"Alright, thanks, how are you?" she replied. "Check your email, you've got new rules for the week. And I hope you like dogs," Bobbi added, knowing that Lorna did in fact love 'em. Ka-Zar had been on a number of playdates with her dog since she got the little guy.
"She asks if I like dogs." Lorna said in a playful tone before taking out her phone to navigate to her emails. "Oh man, that second one...any suggestions?"
"Hmm, let's see," she replied, thinking of different options. "We just added a new way to check someone's criminal records electronically. If you're not up on that I can show you how it works?" Bobbi knew Lorna had a lot of training and testing to get her license so she figured something new would be best for her.
"I think I saw the memo on that the other day, I would actually like to know the benefits on it and how it works. Tons of questions are flowing through my brain. Does number 3 mean we can bring in dogs for the week? Magnus would be thrilled."
"I don't see why not. The more the merrier, I say." Bobbi would be bringing in Ka-Zar in order to allow the rest of the team to help out, after all, so it only made sense. "Perfect, I can help out with that then, I just caught up on how to use it myself."
"I can't wait for puppy week!" Lorna did a yes gesture as though she just won the lottery. "Is there any documentation I could look at right now?"
"Absolutely, I've got it printed off in my office, let's go take a look." Bobbi lead the way to her office, whistling to summon the napping Ka-Zar who she'd already brought because, d'uh, she's the boss this week.
