Backdated to June 6. Following the incident on the fishing boat, a new Asgardian joins the ranks.

It wasn't nearly as cold in California but it was still winter and the sky reminded her of that. It was an overcast day with darker clouds moving inland with the sounds of rumbling in the distance. There would be a storm later.

Tandy stood at the shore edge dressed warmly and nicely. She had a meeting later that she couldn't be late to, otherwise people would worry. Crossing her arms to keep warm, it was funny that a human body could be so frail and could succumb to minor things - like weather. Behind her stood three dark figures, the latest victims of the demon inside of her. Her eyes never stopped scanning the water for any movement. "Do you sense him Cul?"

Cul gave an annoyed noise. "Of course I can." Who did she think he was? A lesser God? Pointing in a direction, his eyes flickered to the shades behind them. He hated that he still needed bodyguards, but until the ritual was complete, he was too vulnerable otherwise. "It shouldn't be too much longer. He is making great haste." This pleased Cul. Nerkkod knew better than to be late. Without saying anything, he walked into the water, allowed it to come to mid-shin as he waited. The cold broke through his pathetic mortal coil and reminded him to stay fresh. Everything was coming into place.

True to Cul's words, Nerkkod exploded up through the water's surface, landing and coming to a stop in the ankle-deep water not too far from them. "Greetings," he managed, nodding to them both. His eyes lingered on the other man for a moment before a realization lit up in them. "Cul. It is you." His eyes went back to Tandy, less sure of who she was, before returning to Cul. He gripped his hammer tighter and took in his surroundings.

The older God didn't say anything at first, instead choosing to size up Nerkkod. This wasn't the body he would have picked, but it would have to do. "Yes. This is Dweller." He motioned impassively to Tandy. "She is assisting me in my endeavors. I expect to be victorious this time around."

"It has been ages Nerkkod. Different bodies back then." Tandy nodded towards the Asgardian. "We have a simple task for you. A hammer have been found and are currently stored at a 'abandoned' Russian facility." She used air-quotation around the word abandon. "Probably hasn't been fully active for a number of years. We like you to retrieve it. Think of this as getting your feet wet for what is to come."

He guffawed at the pun, then rapped the ground with the base of his own hammer. "It has been too long, Dweller. I can accomplish this task, with ease, even." Nerkkod would have no trouble going even that great a distance, and was proud to be able to take on such an important task. "Consider it done. I shall return as soon as the hammers are in my possession." It wouldn't take very long, unless someone decided to try and stop him. Then it would only take slightly longer for him to dispatch with them before finishing his mission.

"Then go," Cul responded, his face impassive. "Do not make me wait. I expect results quickly, Nerkkod." With a hand, he dismissed the other God, and turned his attention back to Dweller. He knew Nerkkod would not disappoint him. The task would be completed quickly and efficiently. "Things are going well, wouldn't you say?" He smiled at Dweller. "We should celebrate."

"I would expect nothing less Asgardian." Tandy turned towards Cul, "Shouldn't count your chickens before they hatch."
