The X-Men attack the Sentinels as the team warps back down, leaving a stable universe behind.

Bastian screamed in frustration as the X-Men attacked his forces in the clearing without warning. Having followed the other team to the location, albeit unknowingly, and with Bastian's scouts eliminated, the Sentinels had no warning that the mutants were coming until they were right on top of them. Wolverine led the assault, dashing into the middle, ignoring energy blasts that shredded muscle and skin in order to bring his claws to use against the Sentinel leader as the other X-Men teamed up on the rest.

Kane made a waving gesture and they faded back into the woods and out of sight of the battle.

"Whatever just happened," Clint said, worried about interrupting the group's concentration but knowing the information he had was vital, "It looks to've fixed whatever caused the problem. The anomaly's fading out."

"Time to go home, I guess." Kane said, taking a final look around before hitting the button on his gauntlet. He seemed to flicker for a brief second and disappeared. Once again, he felt the strange stretched feeling before snapping back into reality in the basement of the church. He staggered and took a couple of steps before shaking off the after-effects of the dimensional travel.

Alani had slapped the button on her own Goober without a second thought after seeing Kane do it. The fading adrenaline and slight hunger that told her she'd probably used her power a bit too much made this universal shift border on unpleasant before she found herself back on the platform they'd started this journey on. "Home again, home again," she sighed out. And because she was very nice, she hopped down to sit on the floor against the wall, hopefully out of anyone's way.

Meggan had pressed her button without hesitation once the indication came to do so. The whole concept of all of this coming from that spot was fascinating, even if it was dangerous. However, she was extremely relieved to be back within the universe she felt was home, where everyone was just as she knew them to be. “Oh, yes. Home, just as we left it,” Meggan breathed as she found a good spot near Alani to settle down onto.

"We did it," Pixie sighed when she arrived safely at home with the press of a button. She realized she had been half anticipating something to go haywire with the trip back. "That was certainly something."

"Let's do it again," Matt stated, stepping off the platform, "It feels so weird to do the dimensional shift. Kinda fun though."

"Next time, let's flip a coin to pick the dimension, yeah?" Kitty stretched, wandering through the air as she left the platform. "That is, if we get a choice."

"Thanks for being the Hawkeye in the sky, guy," Molly said, offering Clint a high five. "If we do it next time you're joining us, right?"

Meeting Molly's hand halfway, Clint gave her a smile and said, "Yeah, maybe. It was pretty different, being on comms instead of being in the thick of things, though. Kinda liked it." He looked around at everyone else, smile spreading into a grin. "You guys were great!"
