Once they get back to the hotel after checking out the renovation project and settle in for the night, Angelo stops by Nathan's room for a visit to go over the plan for tomorrow.
On their return to the hotel after an afternoon and evening of looking at the various renovations going on around the neighborhood and after going to his and Paige's room to ditch his jacket and shoes, Angelo made his way along to Nathan's room for a quick visit.
Sitting idly on the bed and channel-surfing as he tried to find a decent news program, Nathan glanced up at the knock on the door. He reached out with his mind for long enough to identify that it was Angelo, then opened the door telekinetically.
Angelo grinned and walked in, pushing the door shut behind him. "Hey."
"Hey," Nathan responded, leaning back against the headboard of the bed and smiling briefly. "You guys all settled for the night?"
Angelo nodded. "Pretty much, yeah - how about you?"
"May take me a while longer," Nathan said with a chuckle. "Not used to sleeping on my own anymore... and I'm sure you didn't really need to know that."
Angelo laughed. "Little bit of TMI there, yeah", he answered lightly. "Does the link work when you're so far away?"
"I can still feel her," Nathan said after a moment, listening. "Distant, though... it's a little disconcerting, actually." He banished the slight frown and made himself smile at Angelo. "Room okay?"
Angelo smiled back, if faintly worried. "Yeah, it's good. The Professor doesn't spare expenses on things like this, does he?"
"Probably wanted to make sure you're comfortable and well-rested, given what you're setting out to do here," Nathan pointed out.
Angelo nodded. "Good point. Not sure sleep's gonna come easy tonight, but Paige's here, an' that always helps", he answered, giving possible TMI for TMI.
"We'll head out first thing in the morning," Nathan said. "After breakfast, I mean. That should give us enough time to size up the situation with your old friends and see how you want to do this."
Another nod. "Sounds good. An' when we're done with them tomorrow, however it turns out... there's one more thing I should do before we go. Need to stop by the cemetery, I think."
Nathan paused, then nodded. "All right," he said quietly. "We can definitely do that." He glanced at the clock on the bedside table, then gave Angelo a mock-stern look. "You should go get some sleep."
Angelo chuckled unrepentantly. "I'll go an' try", he allowed. "Might even work."
