okay, I've been up for like 36 hours, or something--guilt's better than caffeine that way, I guess--and I guess you won't see this until you get back, whenever . . . and I won't blame you if you don't want anything to do with me anymore or I'm being sent home, or whatever, I deserve it, I just . . .
If you're going to hate me I'd like to make sure it's for the right reasons. Um. So, I'm going to crash now, but if you haven't just deleted this because it's me, can I come talk to you when I'm awake and you're back and all that?
It's okay if you don't want to, I understand.

You won't be sent home. That's not a solution to anything, and it doesn't fix why this could have happened in the first place. I trust the Professor won't even contemplate that alternative. That wouldn't be helping you, which is what he wants, after all.
I haven't read any of the journals since we got back. I don't plan to, as it means if I did, I'd do something... regrettable. I'm pretty sure. So I'm not reading, until I calm down. A lot.
And I don't hate you. I'll be here tomorrow. But, please Jamie... help me understand why you did this. Because I want nothing more than to understand why...
