Angelo gets up early on Friday, only to find Bobby already awake. They talk about what a lovesick schoolboy Bobby is, the fact that it must be kept quiet as long as possible, and then reassert the fact that they are still boys. ;)

Bobby was curled up on the couch, staring into space with a grin, cup of coffee in his hand, despite the fact that it was barely 7:30 and he had no reason to be awake at this hour. He couldn't sleep. Didn't want to sleep.

Angelo's door opened and he wandered out, shirtless and hair tousled. On his way to the kitchenette for coffee of his own, he stopped in his tracks and blinked at Bobby.

Bobby didn't notice him for a second, then turned his head and grinned. "Morning!" he chirped, lifting his cup in greeting. "Coffee?"

"...Yeah. Why are you awake?"

Bobby shrugged. "Why would I want to sleep through such a great morning?" He had to stop grinning. His cheeks were starting to ache.

Angelo eyed him suspiciously. "Why is this mornin' great, particularly?"

Bobby laughed and took a sip of his coffee. "Because there's a certain irish redhead in it somewhere?" He blushed faintly, ducking his head. Yes, he knew he was acting like an idiot, but he couldn't help it.

Angelo blinked at him again, then grinned triumphantly. "Ha. What'd I tell you?"

"Yeah, yeah. You're a genius, and stuff." Bobby took another sip of coffee, still beaming all over the place.

"So, when'd it happen? ...wait, I need coffee first."

Bobby nodded, happily curled up as he waited for Angelo to rejoin him with coffee. And not bouncing. Not even a little. Really.

He didn't have to wait long before Angelo dropped into one of the armchairs and gave him a pointed look. "Talk."

Bobby laughed and sat up, cradling his coffee in his hands. "She came by last night at midnight. I, uh...I owed her a midnight ice cream party from a pool game she won a while ago." He broke into a wide grin again. "So we went to the kitchen and...talked, while I made the ice cream."

Angelo laughed. "Talked?"

"Yes, talked," Bobby said mock-reproachfully. "...At first, anyway. Almost decided to just stick to the 'just friends' thing, even. And then..." Bobby giggled. "I kissed her again."

"....did you just giggle?" Angelo was laughing still. "Got it bad, Bobby."

Bobby swung at him half-heartedly. "Shut up. I know!" he groaned, falling back against the couch. "I can't wait to see her again."

"Made any plans?" Angelo asked.

"Plans? No....I should, though. Take her to a movie, or something..." Mmm, dark movie theater. "...A scary movie."

"Good plan. Much with the clingin' during the jump scenes."

"Yeah, exactly." Bobby shifted so his legs were tucked under him and sighed. "...I can't leave the room like this." He was making a valiant effort to stop grinning like a loon, but it was less than wholly successful.

"Sure you can. You'll just have a lot of questions to answer, is all."

"...Questions that it's better I don't answer," Bobby replied, his smile fading just a bit.

"Gonna have to sooner or later, if this is gonna happen", Angelo pointed out,

Bobby laughed and shook his head. "I gotta get a grip, seriously. If Terry's dad finds out..." He shrugged. "Well. Let's just say we don't want him to find out."

"Bobby, this is a real small school. Can't keep it a secret forever."

"Especially with mind-readers everywhere, I know." Bobby blushed and cleared his throat. "...Jean knows, already."

Angelo eyed him, grinning wickedly. "Does she. And how do you know that?"

Bobby's blush faded, replaced by a wave of cold radiating from him. "Becauseshecaughtusmakingoutintherecroom," he mumbled, mouth twitching, not sure whether to grin or grimace.

Angelo listened patiently until he'd made out the words. "...heh. You forgot to tell me that part?"

"Right. That was the part where we got sent to my room." Bobby smirked suggestively. "I guess we didn't wake you then, huh?"

Angelo stared at him. "...Tell me you didn't. Already??"

Bobby gave him a look. "Not that it's any of your business...but no." He rolled his eyes. "Not that I didn't want to, of course."

"I'm your roommate", Angelo informed him. "It's so my business, if only 'cause I'm in the other room."

Bobby snorted. "So you'll give me a heads-up anytime you get laid?" Just so they're on the same page, and all.

"If I have enough warnin'", Angelo answered with an innocent shrug. "Only fair."

"Fine. And if you don't--you tell me after." Bobby grinned and held out a hand to shake on it.

"It's a deal." He shook hands.
