It's moving day!

Dani was not a person who 'acquired' things like say, Clarice. Her room was positively barren compared to the glitter Pixie and even compared to most normal people as well, which was why she had thought moving to a suite would be relatively easy.

Thinking obviously was not her strong point. "How much clothing do I have?" she muttered throwing yet another maternity blouse onto her new bed so she'd have more room for her regular clothes. The pile of clothing on her bed had been steadily growing throughout her move.

Jennie knew she should feel glad that the bereau had so thoughtfully boxed all of her things and shipped them to her. Although the though of strange men going through her underwear gave her a heebie jeebie. There were three large boxes and two smaller ones, and again, due to the efficency of the government agency, it felt like they had also decided that she needed several large rocks. Giving up on carrying the larger one, she settled for pushing it across the carpeted floor of the suite. She was going at a pretty good clip, until she reached her doorway, which she had severely misjudged as being large enough to shove the box through.

There was a crash, and a bang, and a very loud swear word.

"You okay?" Dani called, distracted from her sorting, and headed out to the living room. Obstinately blocking the doorway was a box and a rather disgruntled looking Jennie.

"Yeah, fine." Jennie said, gumpily. She stood up and dusted off her butt. "I seem to have made a grave error in in box to door ratios. Maybe if I just open it and chuck everything there...?"

"You got the box through the living room door, right?" Dani asked, although it was obvious that she had somehow, "So getting it through the bedroom door shouldn't be hard." The box was a good inch wider than the door.

"Yeah, but I was carrying it at the time. And this sonofabitch is heavy." Jennie put her fists on her hips, considering. "I think, if you could....ah?"

Shrugging, Dani easily climbed over the box and into the bedroom, "Ready when you are," she said, getting a grip on the box. With a grunt, the girls lifted it through at an angle, dropping it quickly once they were in, "That ain't light."

Thank you!" Jennie breathed. "I know, I have no idea what these guys packed in here. And what's more, I got two more like it." Jennie knelt down and ripped off some of the clear tape binding the box.

"Two?" Dani squeaked, that was a lot of stuff. "I'm just trading out the dresser drawers in my old room for this one since they're all the same. Can I have one of the boxes when you're done? I got stuff to get rid of."

"Sure, not a problem. I honestly didn't know I had this much stuff. It may have been breeding when I wasn't looking." Jennie said, puzzeled. "Which one is your room?"

Dani pointed across the living room at the open door. "Don't mind the Barbie bedspread or the mountain of clothes, they ain't staying. Well, the bed spread is 'cause it's Meggan's, but I'm gonna put the clothes in the box," it was easy to tell Meggan's side of the room from Dani's. One side was girly and pink and the other side wasn't.

"You are very brave." Jennie said with awe. "I could not live with that much pink. My retinas would melt. Plus, y'know, living with a little kid and everything."

"I ain't had my own room until I moved here. Used to sleep on Forge's couch until it started hurting just 'cause I didn't want to be alone. Ain't a big deal," although the sheer amount of pink was terrifying, Dani was going to bravely endure it, "Sides, Meggan's a good kid."

"I know the feeling. I think my back still has a kink in it from Julia's stupid futon." Jennie leaned back, popping her spine. She though of the other two big boxes in her suite and grimaced. There was no way she was going to make Dani help haul that up here.

"C'mon, lets go get some macho boys to help with your boxes, we can bribe them with food and make them do our evil bidding," or they could ask Kitty to try to phase them through the wall so the door wouldn't matter, it really depended on who they found first. "It's what boys are for after all."

"What a fantastic idea," Jennie said, giggling and rubbing her hands together. "Good thing I'm in shorts. Hang on a sec, though, I wann see what's in here." She bent down and with a good tug ripped off the rest of the tape holding the box top together. She opened teh top and sifted through the peanuts on top. "Dishes? They sent me our dishes?."

Useful and infinitely practical, although somewhat moot in a place like Xavier's, especially if you were 16. "They didn't know?" Dani hazarded a guess. Her dishes were....actually, she never had any. Depressing.

"Meh. Although now I'm a little worried about what's in the other two boxes." Visions of the aforementioned stupid futon crammed into a box while her clothing sat in some warehouse started dancing through her head.

"As long as there aren't any bodies, I wouldn't worry too much. There are attics full of random things here, you can add to them or go rummaging," it had been a while since Dani had had a good rummage up there. Mentally, she made a note to do so.

"Well, let's go find some boys to help us, and get the rest of this crap put away." Jennie held the door for Dani. "After you, madamoiselle."
