So, what happened when Moira went to collect the things Doug requested? Poor Curt.

Curt Connors was deeply imbedded in his work. Alright, so he was currently deeply imbedded in a game of Solitaire but that wasn’t his fault. The tests were running smoothly and nothing needed to be poked or prodded for another ten to fifteen minutes or so. Long enough to relax but not long enough, sadly, to hunt his wife down.

The sudden sound of a very Scottish, very agitated, voice caught his attention and he whipped his head around. Was that…Moira wasn’t supposed to be here this week. Especially after he had gotten the news about her husband.

Moira sprinted in through the open door to the labs and headed right past him, sending out a quick “HelloCurt” as she headed towards the…he peered. She was in one of the many storage rooms.

“…er…Moira?”

Looking back, he caught sight of Clarice. “Clarice?” Well, that would explain how Moira had gotten here so quickly.

A muffled yelp, a few bangs and a few seconds later and Moira reappeared, carrying something under her arm. Something that looked like a Bat Keyboard. In fact, that was a Bat Keyboard.

“I know we ‘ad two spares…” Casting a glance towards him, Moira huffed. “’ave ta do. Sorry, Curt, there’s another around ‘ere somewhere.”

Without even a “by your leave, may I steal your keyboard that you are currently working on”, she had it efficantly and expertly unplugged and tucked under her arm. And was heading back towards Clarice.

“But…Moira…my…um…Clarice…that was mine…”

They disappeared.

“…bye?” Turning around, he took a deep breath and did the only thing he could think of.

“Honey?!”
