Henry, I realize that I'm asking a very great deal from you, but I think it's vitally important that we put something out there to counter, as much as can be, the effect of that . . . vicious little propaganda piece.
I would like to invite a journalist here to the school, to conduct interviews and put together a positive documentary about life as a mutant, and I'm afraid that Trish Tilby is our most prominent contact in the news media . . . if "contact" is the right word. If it will not reopen too many old wounds, could you please ask her if she's available and interested?
Thank you.
Charles

. . . please consider returning soon. I'm trying to put together a counteragent to the fallout from that news piece--a documentary of the school, in fact--and considering your own forced role in that poison, it would be a great help if you were on hand to rebut.
As well . . . I worry about you when you're gone, Scott. Please come home soon.

"What's coming will come, and we'll face it when it does," as they say. I . . . I'll talk to her. Whatever else she may be and has done, Trish is nothing if not an excellent reporter, and she will give us . . . give the school, I should say, fair coverage.
But if she agrees, that's the last I want to do with the matter. I give no interviews, appear in no background shots, provide no undeniably-witty sound bites--in fact, I'll just secrete myself in my lab until it's all over. I'm afraid that's a non-negotiable part of the deal, Professor.

Thank you, Henry. I do understand, and I won't ask that you do any more.
