Subject: Not so much my place but...
Professor,
I hope you'll forgive me for this but I was reading over Alison's shoulder earlier and happened to see the post to the team. I also am fully capable of putting two and two together and coming up with the X-men being totally understaffed for this mission. I'm not asking to be made a permanent member of the team. It's more that I cannot in good conscience allow abilities to go to waste when they make me uniquely suited to a mission dedicated to finding a man whose bones are made of metal.
Will you allow me to help?

Thank you, Lorna; your help is certainly welcome. Please don't take any unnecessary risks while you're away.
