.. as Cora so aptly commented on the way things have been for some characters lately.



Kitty: *a soft knock on Piotr's door*

Piotr: *walks over to the suite door and opens it up* Hello? Katya, hi! *he smiles, and opens the door all the way* Come in...

Kitty: Hi Piotr...

*enters, looking around a little warily*

Piotr: *is alone in the suite at the moment* Do you need something, or did you just come to hang out? *he smiles, looking rather cheerful*

Kitty: I actually... um. I kinda wanted to talk...
*decidedly doesn't look cheerful*

Piotr: *his smile fades a bit, and he looks concerned* Oh, okay... come sit. *sits down at the couch, she has her choice of the couch, an armchair, or Warren's ottoman*

Kitty: *perches on the chair, biting at lip*
Um... I don't know if I have the... well, no.
Piotr, is something going on?

Piotr: *he looks confused, thinking she has a problem about herself she wants to talk about* I do not know what is going on with you... are you still having problems with phasing?

Kitty: No, no, no. Not with me. I mean... um, is something going on with you and... um. Well... yeah.
Is there something between you and... um... anyone?

Piotr: *figures this must be about Sam. That poem was too obvious. He tries to be vague, in case he's wrong.* Well... with who? I know a lot of people...

Kitty: *scowls down at the floor, then looks up*
What's going on with you and Sam... and Warren...?
*her eyes look brighter than normal*

Piotr: *he blushes slightly, and looks back up at her* Nothing is going on with me and Sam that is not the same as what always goes on. *he hates to lie, but it involves Sam, and he's sure Sam doesn't want people to know about his private business or he would tell them himself. A pang of guilt hits, remembering how he told Alison. Piotr clears his throat a bit* Warren and I.. well.. it is like... a boyfriend and a girlfriend, but with no girl. *he blushes, and even though he worries a bit at Kitty's reaction in the back of his head, he can't help but smile when thinking about Warren as his boyfriend*

Kitty: *Kitty sucks in a breath through her nose, holding it in for half a second before quietly saying* oh... oh.
*she blinks quickly a couple of times*
So you're ... you don't... you and... *she can't finish it*

Piotr: *his brows furrow, and he looks worried* What?

Kitty: *she looks straight at him, and there are tears glistening in the corners of her eyes*
You're involved with Warren? You're gay?

Piotr: *frowns, something in him feeling like it's breaking at her look. He answers softly* I.. do not know... I just... I like both girls and boys I think.. but... I want Warren. *he swallows thickly, and refuses to look into her tearful eyes again*

Kitty: oh... *her voice shakes and a tear trickles unnoticed down her cheek* I see...

Piotr: I... I am not sorry for it. Even if you think it is wrong. Even if everybody else does. *his jaw clenches and he stares at his hands*

Kitty: No... *her voice is soft, and laced with pain* no, there's nothing wrong with it...
*she stands up, looking around* I should go... *more tears are starting to fall*

Piotr: *he finally looks back up, and also stands* If you do not think it is wrong then why are you crying?

Kitty: Because... because... *she sniffles a little, then suddenly phases out and steps towards him. She lifts up on point and presses a phantom kiss to Piotr's lips* Because I could have loved you...
*then she turns and races out of the room, not bothering with the door*

Piotr: *Piotr's eyes open wide in surprise, that being probably the last thing he expected from Kitty. He watches her run from the room, and tries to wrap his mind around what just happened.*

Serves you right, Mr. Manners. Be all nice and bumbling and kind and naive, and then, tick-tick-tick b00m you go off and we get covered in the little bits of misery flying around.

We know you didn't want it. Still it's all pretty damn uncomfortable (for some more than for others), and I don't like seeing my friends hurt. You're my friend, too, but right nowe everything's a bit difficult.
