Email from Mr St Croix to Xavier
Dec. 20th, 2003 11:27 pmDear Sir,
I would first like to thank you for your assistance and advice. However the situation with my daughter Monet has reached a point where I feel I have no choice but for her to be taken away from here. She is too comfortable here, and there is no way that we can teach her the self-discipline she sadly lacks. So I will be sending her to you this evening, almost certainly around ten o'clock.
There are a few things I would like to make clear to you. We are not sure of the extent of her abilities, and we would appreciate anything you may tell us.
Also, we request that you do not give her any more leeway than any of your students. We will be talking to her and she will be aware that should be expelled from your school, for any reason, the consequences will not be insignificant.
Again, my wife and I send you our gratitude for your assistance. Our daughter's recalcitrance is inexcusable in anyone and particularly in someone with her abilities.
Yours,
Cartier St Croix
