While the Uncomfortableness is happening downstairs, Angel meets Jennie's sister. And finds her double. It's kinda frightening.

The door was kicked shut behind Angel as she staggered in, boxes and bags in her hands. "I think there's someone in the common room," she called out. "I heard movement! Could someone kindly bring said movement over here, my arms are gonna drop off and beat me to death. I mean, man, going out for shopping so close to Christmas? My mom is insane, insane I tell you! Which means you should totally ignore the billions of stuff I brought home."

Angel heard the padding of feet, followed by the sensation of the boxes lifting from her arms. The boxes moved from Angel's line of sight, staggered, and were set on the couch. The person behind the boxes was someone Angel had never seen before, but at the same time strangely familiar. The girl was tall, skinny, with short brown hair and bright blue eyes. "You must be Angel," the girl said, smiling and revealing a mouthful of braces.

"And...you are totally not a roommate," she responded, blushing. "But thanks. Have I met you...heeey, you look like Jennie!" She rubbed her shoulders and nudged off her shoes while getting a good look at the other girl. "Normally, I don't chatter off the ears of people I haven't met...oh, wait. Never mind, yes I do."

The girl laughed. "Jennie's my sister, so I do look like her! It's kinda neat, 'cause for the longest time I was the only girl and now all the sudden I got the cool older sister whose clothes I can steal-"

"Olivia!" Jennie yelled from in her room. "Coherent sentences!"

"Oh, right," Olivia grinned. "I'm Olivia, Jennie's younger sister." She leaned closer to Angel and whispered conspiratorially, "We're kidnapping her for Christmas, shhh..."

Angel snickered under her breath. "Every girl needs a good kidnapping once in a while," she said in a stage whisper, mentally knocking on wood. Good kidnappings were yay, bad kidnappings were boo. "How long is she going to be all kidnapped and stuff? Ooh, and I totally see how the clothes thing would rock. I'm an only child so no stealing people's clothes...though I wonder if I can steal Jennie's stuff later..."

"It won't fit you!" Jennie yelled from inside her room. "My clothes don't fit giants or midgets!"

Olivia mock-pouted. "She's jealous because I'm taller than her." She lifted her chin haughtily. "I could even be a model someday, not that I want to because then I could never eat. And that would suck, I love cheese fries too much. Oh!" Olivia's train of thought promptly derailed, only to get up and run on a completely different track. "You're a mutant too, right? I mean, like, duh, school for mutants but! What can you do? Don't worry, I'm not all racist and stuff, I think it would personally be awesome to fly but if I could I would've been able to by now."

Without a doubt, Angel liked this girl. Maybe she could adopt Olivia or something, now that would be awesome. "I am not a midget!" Angel shouted back. "Bunch of tall weirdoes, I swear. And yep yep, totally a mutant!" Carefully, so not to trip over anything, she took a step back and lit up. The blue flame blazed to life around her and she grinned. "Fire all the way. And I just learned a while ago that I can fly." She pouted as she powered down. "But not so well right now."

"Oh. My. God. That is so awesome!" Olivia cried, clapping her hands together in a gesture not unlike one that Jennie did when excited. "How'd you learn to fly? Did you wake up on the ceiling one day or fall off a roof or something?"

"Um, second one, actually." Angel had the grace to look sheepish for all of, oh, five seconds before giggling like a chipmunk on crack. "And it was the coolest thing ever! I was on the roof and then I wasn't and Mr. G--he's now my flight instructor and he looks slightly older each time he teaches me--tried to catch me but missed and I hovered! And then I fell again and got caught."

"Wow, you got flight instructors? This is the coolest school ever." Olivia hooked her thumbs into the belt loops of her jeans and looked around. "My Mom totally wanted to send me to a boarding school when I got to high school, but my Dad talked her out of it. I'm kinda glad he did because no boarding school could be as cool as this place. I mean, seriously. Even though Jennie bitches about it all the time."

"Do not!" came the reply. "Just the lack of demon attacks!"

"Man, most people would be complaining about too many demon attacks." Angel beamed. "Jennie's special, this is why we love her."

"She's just mad because people keep talking about them and she's never seen one," Olivia said. "I mean, she gets kidnapped by her friend for two months and she's complaining about demon attacks?"

"Olivia!"

"What? It's true!"

"But there were no demons there in Europe," Angel said wisely.

"Yeah, I guess not," Olivia scratched her head. "It's not like she's mentioned it or anything. You would if there were demons there, right?" she called over her shoulder at Jennie's room.

"No! Damnit, Olivia!"

She snickered into her hands at that. It was kind of like watching Marius and Jennie interact, just with less pretending to be married. "It's hard to find a greeting card with that on it. 'Happy Holidays, Hope your demon invasion ended well!' Hallmark needs to expand themselves, I mean, really."

"Totally. Or 'Our condolences on your house getting trashed by a demon' and then there's a picture of a demon who's gnawing on a table leg or something. You could so make a fortune!" She was interrupted when a bag was thrown casually out of Jennie's room. Followed by Jennie with a smaller bag slung over her shoulder. She walked over next to her sister, who was indeed a couple of inches taller than her.

"So not fair," the dark-haired girl sighed. "She's fifteen and taller than me." she wrapped an arm around her sister's waist. "You finish scaring the natives?"

"I think it might just be the other way around. I mean, I did just catch on fire. And it's like talking to myself, this is so awesome!" Angel grinned at her roomie. "How long are you going to be gone for?"

"'Til the 26th. Father's annual family holiday shindig in Connecticut. And, we're um, Marius is coming with us." Jennie said with a slightly strange expression. "I'm convinced he's suicidal."

There was a pause and then hysterical giggling. "Oh no, that'll be funny! Tell him to wear my gift! It'll make things festive!" She looked sheepish. "Though I'm dragging someone home with me as well, so I really can't poke fun. Much, anyway, because it's rather easy to tease you guys." Which made it fun since it was like being at home with all of her cousins.

"Ooooh, It wouldn't be a certain roommate of Kyle's that's of the Hispanic persuasion?" Jennie said wickedly, elbowing her suitemate. "Don't lie, I saw you two last night. Marius'll be pleased. Now he's off the hook. Speaking of, let's go see if Dad's reduced him to a stain on the carpet."

"I dunno, his Mom called Dad the other night." Olivia said. "I don't know what it was about, but I could hear him muttering 'Now I understand so much' after it was over."

"Jeeeeennieeee," Angel whined, but looked pleased. And embarrassed. And pleased. "Maybe your dad and Marius have canceled each other out and they're calmly watching sports on T.V. or something. I mean, stranger things have happened. It is Xavier's, after all."

"Yeeeeah." Jennie's expression clearly said she didn't believe it. "Perhaps he's only maimed him. Anyways, we can't keep the rest of the clan waiting. Your Mom is totally not going to be happy about this, 'Liv." Jennie turned and hefted her bag. Which Olivia promptly relieved her of.

"I'll carry it," the taller girl said, shouldering it. "'S not like you have a lot of stuff. And Mom'll just have to deal. You're family."

Yep, this girl was someone to keep, that was for sure. Angel turned and launched herself at Jennie. "Merry early Christmas!" she said. "And your sister totally rocks, I see that It runs in the family."

Jennie squeaked as she was beset by a small redheaded missile. She returned the hug and then held Angel out at arm's length. "Now you behave while I'm gone, okay? Make sure your guy is nice to you or otherwise I'll break both his thumbs." She winked at her sister, who was blushing from Angel's comment.

"No breaking thumbs! Not that I'm saying he might need them later because that's kind of gross sounding...but he might need them!" She glanced at the other two and side. "Thumb wars, guys, thumb wars. Yeesh."

Both girls burst into giggles. "Suuure," Olivia said, and Jennie followed with "Riiiight," and then they both collapsed into giggles again.

"I'm so going to ask him about what his powers extend to later. Just to see how he'll react." Jennie grinned.

"I...think I have no idea what you're talking about," Angel said. "Though I'm sure I'd be so mortified if I did. Totally burst into flames and die from it, right? I'm never asking him that question, never ever ever. Because probably ew."

"What're his powers?" Olivia said.

"I'll tell you later," Jennie said with a wink at Angel. "But yeah, we gotta go. It's just you and Dad in the car, right?"

"Yeah, Mom and Grandmama and the boys went up yesterday." Olivia nodded, and then turned to Angel. "It was so nice meeting you! Next time you're in The City you should totally come hang."

She perked up at that. Most of her cousins had been boys and the school meant her friends of the girl variety grew every day. "I'd really like that," she said earnestly. "Have a safe trip and try to keep Jennie out of trou--eek!" She dodged the noogie.

"I should say the same for you!" Jennie retorted. "Merry Christmas AngelDove. We'll be back in a few days. Oh! Before I forget," she dug in her shoulder bag and produced a small wrapped package. "Don't open this until the 25th, otherwise the Monkeys will get you." She grinned and ushered her sister out of the suite. "Bye!"

"Wait, but...monkeys? Argh, now I'll be forced to shake it!" Angel stuck her head out the door. "Your gift isn't wrapped yet but it will be! Eventually! Maybe! Does the bag count! Have fun!"

"You too!"

"Bye Angel!"
