Sarah,
I.. really don't know what to say. Thank you. It's beautiful. Far nicer a gift than any sword could hope to be.
I know you, Jono and I are still on for Lewis Black tonight, but maybe later on in the week, you'd like to go catch a flick? Before you backpedal and start throwing things at me, it'd be a group thing, probably.. unless, of course, you'd rather go see Peter Pan without Alison, Jake, Miles, and a bunch of other miniature adults kicking 'round the premises. Or go see something else - no idea if flying English boys and Jason Isaacs with a sword are your scene or not.
In the meantime, I got a few new packs of smokes for X-Mas.. if you want to split one and talk-or-not about your trip home, you know where to find me.
Thanks, again. I really do adore it.

Shinobi,
Glad you liked it. I write a lot when I go home, it helps or something.
...Peter Pan? um, right. I don't suppose Captain Hook wins in this adaptation? I suppose I can always throw popcorn at the screen if it sucks that badly. So.. that's a yes. You can go tell Jake now.
And there's not much to talk about my trip home. Nothing new, they're all still dead.
See you tonight.

Sarah,
I know the feeling. Playing piano helps me when I'm feeling a bit.. lost, off, depressed, helpless, or whatever. Can't write my own music, though, so color me jealous.
Well, we can always pretend Hook wins. When the good guys start winning, we can conveniently say "oh no, out of popcorn" and go outside for a smoke 'til it's over.
Remind me and I'll give you one of my packs of smokes before the show tonight. My old lighter, too. Angelo gave me a new one for Christmas, and since my old one still works, it should at least have a nice new home.
