Backdated. Jan has plans and needs Tommy to help her out.

"Tommy!" Standing in the entrance of Tommy's suite after he had answered the door, Jan looked up at him, shocked. "What are you doing cooped up in your room all by yourself on such a beautiful day? It's supposed to rain, so what? You won't melt! Come on!"

Tommy blinked as he looked down at her and raised an eyebrow as he was dragged out of room. thankfully, he had a mind to plant his feet to stop her from dragging him out the door. "Whoa. Whatever happened to hello? And I thought you were going home?"

"Hello, Tommy!" Jan replied dutifully before breaking into a grin as she pulled him down the hallway. "We're going outside! I did go home, silly, but I'm still coming a couple of afternoons a week to work on my powers. Trying to stay big right now, so not so much with the shrinking, but definitely working on improving my control with the zap! Flight, too! Too bad they don't make giant Peeps, can you see the looks on people's faces if giant yellow marshmallow chicks and pink marshmallow bunnies fell from the sky?"

Rolling his eyes, he let himself be dragged outside, thankful to have snagged sandals before being dragged out. "And what do I owe the pleasure of the company of the Peep fairy?"

"Somebody has to make sure you go outside and go out and do stuff," Jan told him cheerfully. "Might as well be me. Hey, you're going to the prom here, right? Are you going with anyone?"

"I go out and do stuff, thank you very much." If go out meant going out for a run every morning and do stuff was working out or smoking...Tommy eyed her, wondering at the cheerfulness with which she asked that question. "I hadn't planned on it. Why?"

"Well, change your plans then, Tommy, because you are going to the prom, and you're going with me!" Jan was still smiley and cheerful, but it was clear that she had just made a statement and not asked a question. "My idiot boyfriend broke up with me because I was gone for three weeks, but that's ok because I was going to break up with him when the year was over anyway. I'm going to convince Ava and Emily and Kaylie to break up with their boyfriends, too, and then the three of us will go to our prom as a group, but I want to go to the prom here, too, and I don't want to go by myself. So, you get to be the lucky guy who escorts the fabulous, famous Peep fairy to the Xavier's prom."

Tommy just looked at her, eyes slightly wide.

"Come on, it'll be fun!" Jan said, looking at him, doe-eyed. "Please?"

As if he could refuse her anything. Not to mention if he didn't, she'd badger him about it for ever. "Yeah okay."

"Yes! All right!" Jan crowed, giving him a big hug. "It's going to be great! We're going to have a wonderful time, I just know it! Hey, do you have anything to wear? It's the prom, you know, you gotta look the part. I can't wait to go shopping for my dress! It'll be hard to top the one I already have, but I can't wear the same dress to two proms, you know!"

Tommy was still slightly shocked. "I'm sure I can find a suit or something." He said to please her. God what he had gotten himself into now.

"Great! Oh come on, it's ok to have fun, you know. Fun... you do remember fun, don't you? It's about time you started allowing yourself to have fun, and when you're with me, it's impossible to not have fun!" Jan was grinning again. It had been so great to see Tommy again, and to see how much he had changed since the last she saw him. Still, he seemed to have encased himself in some sort of a shell, and Jan had decided to make it her duty to see that he came out of it, pronto.

If Tommy had know about that.. well, he may have been slightly frightened. Still he shook his head with a small smile. "Yeah okay Jan, whatever you say."

Tommy still didn't sound excited. Well, that was ok. Her work had barely begun. Prom would be fun, it had to be fun, and there was a whole summer coming up soon! "I'll be around a few times before prom, so I'm sure I'll see you again before then, but if you're too busy before then, I'll see you then!"
