Thank you for making sure this was brought to my attention, Marie; I've spoken to Cain and reminded him of my expectations for his conduct.
I would point out, however, that I did not need to be "talked into" bringing him here; he needed help, and I gave it, as I have to so many of you. He has a long journey still ahead of him, but I assure you that despite his manner, none of the students here are in real physical danger from him. I would not have allowed him to stay if I thought otherwise.
And one final observation, if I may, and without any judgment implied: your anger at this incident is well-founded . . . but would have been equally well-founded last summer, when at least one student was regularly humiliated to tears in Logan's self-defense seminar--something of which I regret I was ignorant at the time. If we condemn one, must we not then condemn all?
